Jesse Williams

Will be visiting NYC soon and considering going to see this. If I do go, I'll be solo. I've never been to a Broadway show so I have no idea what to expect. In my head I'm thinking everyone will be lined up in groups with their family or friends and I'll stick out like an awkward perv just going to see the nudity. And then sitting down and waiting for half an hour while everyone around me is talking to the people in the rows in front and back of them. I'm not sure if it's even worth it. How does it compare with other Broadway shows?

Side note: I've never been diagnosed with ADHD but I seriously can't imagine following along with an entire play. In similar environments I'm out in lala land daydreaming about anything and everything besides the play and half way through I have no idea what's going on. Would an actual Broadway show keep me engaged?

Just in case the opportunity arises for you again: I wouldn’t worry about sticking out. I saw the show solo three times, and I didn’t feel awkward about it. Just groom yourself, dress nicely, and don’t be creepy during the nude scenes. People see shows by themselves all the time.

As far as whether you would stay engaged, you may have some difficulties with TMO because there are a few time jumps (with scenes occurring prior to earlier scenes), but I think the show is dynamic and straightforward enough that you’ll still enjoy it.

Thanks xejay. Good to know. I might look into other shows playing now.

Jesse's main nude scene is the shower scene, where he's very fluffed and looks cut, so I get it. But he has another short nude scene in Act 1 where he's changing, and it's a blink-and-you'll-miss it moment, especially if you're seated too far back or at the wrong angle. You can definitely tell he's uncut there; he's soft and you can see the foreskin covering the glans.
There's also a leaked photo of this particular scene, but you didn't hear it from me.
