How are there still people that dont think Joe is playing Billy...? Every leaker has said he is Billy: Mytimetoshine, Canwegetsometoast, Grace Randolph, Charles Murphy, Daniel RPK and more. His stunt doubles resume leaked months ago and said he was the stunt double for Joe playing Billy

I'm pretty sure Joe will play Billy and that's what most people think that'll happen. It's just that some people don't want to accept even the idea of Joe playing him because there was backlash when Joe got cast, because afaik, Joe isn't Jewish while Billy is.

I think Joe is a great choice for Billy, but I am not emotionally invested in it. I'm just remaining pragmatic because I have seen fans get super hyped insisting Marvel will do this or that with stuff like Evan Peters in WandaVision and then Marvel goes left. It's clear they want people to think Joe is playing Wiccan and if he is, great. But after past experience I'll believe it when I see it.

As for Evan, I remember Marvel said WandaVision will lead to Multiverse of Madness. When rumors about Evan being in the cast appeared, fans just decided it's a multiverse thing and he'll be back as the X-Men franchise's Quicksilver. For the record, Marvel NEVER said anything about him being in the cast or any direct connection to the multiverse. Just fans overhyping and believing in something, then getting disappointed because they were thinking wrong.
In this case, however, there are some little evidences he's Billy. The question is, how the fuck is he a real human being (is he, though?) AND a teenager now?
Same way it was done in the comics with Wanda's sons for Young Avengers in the comic. They went from being imaginary to being reincarnated as real human beings via magic IIRC. That's always been their origin story.
I do think it is possible that it's a headfake and Joe is Agatha's son, but I do think both grown twins will be cast very soon if they aren't already. The Young Avengers are being assembled.

I'm kinda not sure there will be any direct adaptations of anything in MCU anymore. These days, comics storylines are being adapted less and less, and we're having a reverse thing, the MCU stuff getting their analogies in comics (which, honestly, I hate. It should be vice versa). IF they're adapting that stuff, they need Mephisto, Master Pandemonium, etc. But I'm not seeing them doing a word-for-word direct adaptation. Hopefully Jac Schaeffer and her team have a brilliant solution for us.
Maybe they'll give us Joe as Nick first, only to reveal he's really Billy. Whatever they do, I hope that he'll appear more and more, that we indeed will get YA movie or series, and that they'll bring Hulkling one day (hopefully he's played by Kit, but something tells me they're gonna get a POC actor, honestly I have nothing against the whole race-swapping thing (we got some great stuff thanks to that), but I'd prefer Mr Connor as his lover in yet another project))))
No they don't. Mephisto and Master Pandemonium had nothing to do with the storyline that resurrected them in Young Avengers, only the '80s story when the twins were first created. Their return as Wiccan and Speed was just handled via exposition. Same can be done in the future.
Kit is a great choice for Hulkling, but I think it is highly unlikely Marvel would recast the HS stars to play a couple again nor do I think Kit and Joe would want to be typecast together like that. I don't think it's a good idea for anyone's careers. But I do think Hulkling will be cast soon just like the rest of the YA.
This is EXACTLY why I’m not getting my hopes up for Billy until the show tells me that’s who he is. I was soooo excited to see Evan as Quicksilver only for it to be a cheap dick joke. Anyone who’s seen most of Phase Four and watched the first episode of Secret Invasion knows not to get their hopes up with anything they do right now. But I do have high hopes for Coven because WandaVision was so good
I'm in the minority that thinks Kit and Joe are very likely to be Hulkling and Billy. Actors playing lovers in different projects are a well-known trope since the start of acting arts. Not long ago Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper played it a Lot,,for example. Is not typecast if they did it once. Is actually a way to attract the public who loved their chemistry
You know what real damaging typecast is? People casting Daisy Edgar Jones (an outstanding actress) to play repressed girl roles or Jlaw to play enraged str8 girls just because her personality (even when she's amazing playing vulnerable women). Billy and Hulkling are different than their Netflix roles - the thing in common is the characters are queer.
It would actually be very nice to have two queer actors doing what straight/straight presenting actors have done for decades - becoming the "it screen couple" that gets cast in different projects. Think a gay Ginger and Fred, Rock Hudson and Doris Day... sadly, I don't think Joe and Kit are big enough mainstream stars to do that, not yet anyway. But Kit would be lovely as Hulkling, absolutely!
Never gonna happen. Marvel brands its own stars, it's not going to want some other property's branding or fanbase expectations to be part of their design.
Further, it would be a bad career move for both Kit and Joe to get typecast as a couple. This isn't the 1930s or 40s anymore in the old studio system where people did this over and over again. J-Law and Cooper did several movies together a decade ago, yes, but at least two were huge flops and they weren't always romantically paired. Even Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts don't do them together anymore.
