You know his account is run by an agency and that is NOT Joel you are speaking to right??? None of these creators run their own accounts. Do you think Joel stays awake 24 hours a day and responds within seconds to every single message?
The people from which ever agency he is part of that run his accounts and they are just trying to get you to buy stuff. Read the messages “Joel” sent in that and they are just generic messages you could reply to anything which 99% it works. They have not read your question they just want you to buy his stuff.
