If you're speaking of Josha, he's got naturally curly hair. He was a child actor in the Netherlands and his hair was kinky to the max as a kid. He started cutting when he began doing runway work as a teen and has been cutting it ever since.

Josha is supposed to be the star of the whole series but the show runner has his own agenda.

I hope their agenda is like the book in that Josha gets passed around from one strong woman to the next. Right now he's in his sugar baby era with Selene - it can only get better.

Rand isn't supposed to be the main focus of the series. Rand literally says in A Memory of Light, the last book, "It's not about me, it's never been about me." and if you look at the stats of Rand's appearances through The Great Hunt/Dragon Reborn, Rand's not in it a lot.

Sadly, no. He plays a spoiled rich boy whose dad is a douche, so he's in bad guy mode. Bad guy suits him tho, from what clips I have seen - he's hot as fuck.
