It’s 14 books long and books 3&4 have a lot of internal dialog and characters figuring out who they are. Sorry it’s not a crappy Tom Cruise action movie.
That's been debunked with official documentation and legal complaints filed. He said he left for very personal reasons. Stop buying into rumors.

In my youth I read about halfway through the Wheel of Time book series and I don't remember most of the stuff in the show ever happening in the early books. All I remember was, at some point, there was an entire chapter of two of the characters making their way through the land (in order to get to the Tower) and making money for their road trip in taverns playing music, like it was some kind of travel blog. There's world building, and then there's Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time.
