Okay I need to spell this out I guess. I never said that all of her songs were not fictional. The song can be about Joshua and most of her album can be fictional. Those two things can exist. You saying "her songs are MOSTLY fictional" is not the same as saying good 4 u is fictional. It's not the same as saying her entire album is fictional either and yet you're kinda insinuating that it is because you're assuming I'm saying her album is 1. not fictional and 2. about Joshua.
I have to ask, what’s with that Olivia Rodrigo girl. I know who she is and didn’t like her because she sounds like the kind of pop singer that is overrated when she debuts and then gets forgotten in about 2-5 years but I see people here saying that she and her fans are to blame for the hate Joshua gets. Can someone please explain to me what happened?
Ok, so allegedly (as in this is all fan speculation), Joshua and Olivia dated during shooting of HSMTMTS and he later broke up with her and started dating Sabrina Carpenter shortly after. She then released her song drivers license which was an instant hit and people began theorizing it was about Joshua. Later songs would add fuel to the fire. Olivia's fans became very angry at Joshua for "breaking her heart" and began sending him relentless hate, acting as if he had abused her or something (which, going by the fan narrative, is not true, he simply broke up with her for another girl).
Again, this is all fan speculation, and likely not even true (Joshua has said multiple times people are getting it all wrong).

And cause she's riding this wave of being a girl mistreated by a guy. She's actively thriving off of the environment her fans have created.
Also it is kinda jarring the she continues to let her fans believe this narrative when Joshua has (publicly) shown nothing but support towards her and her music.
Nobody really blame her tbh, just her fans since they are the one who started all sort of mess like sending death threats to Sabrina(Josh's current gf?)as well as exaggerated and speculated the entire drama. That being said I personally feel she should have said something, but she did said that its all fictional and she won't even write a song about Sabrina since she barely know Sabrina and can't write a song about her. Maybe she said more idk.
That being said, people speculated a lot of these were just PR stunts to boost their careers(Skin release as a "comeback" towards DL like after a week and Olivia releasing her song almost same time as Joshua). since a lot of the timing were too convenient and coincidental for it to be a real "drama". Well, Sabrina and Josh needs a better PR team then lol since it backfired on them completely if its true lol. (I'm way too invested in the drama and need to get a life.

Literally!! She’s yet to come out and say anything to her fans about being assholes to Joshua. Meanwhile Joshua has, as you’ve said, been nothing but supportive of her music, even while he was literally dying. He said he went into shock from the stress, and still she hasn’t said a peep. If I was her I would’ve been said something by now, especially if she knows damn well the fans are making all kinds of assumptions about what they think happened. Kinda comes off as an ass lol
