By the time shameless reboot came around he would be too old to play Ian though… Unless you’re okay with adults playing a role of a teenager trope *shrugs*

i mean, he's an adult playing teenagers. romeo isn't an adult. nick isn't an adult. he's gonna be an adult in this war movie, but probably only an 18yo. not sure what age his character is in that movie about the cuban girl going to england.
also, just completely age up the characters. get rid of frank, fiona, lip(he wasn't even around for more than like one season anyway), debbie. just keep ian, carl(but keep him in that story arc when he was an escort), maybe have mickey around. iirc he had some sort of sexy limo/male prostitution business in the end, he's the only maguire worth keeping around

I like it. More importantly, it's a great career choice. He'll start to pull away from the "pretty boy from the show-which-shall-not-be-named" image that a lot of people have held against him and start moving in the direction of a serious career. It'll open up more parts for him, too. He can play a range of ages by just fucking around with his hair.
but if you pay attention you wil see that it is not same video. in the screenshot you can kinda see below his armpits, like the angle is different. in the video that you posted you cant

people thought the same about tom when he shaved his head for cherry, or grew his hair for the crowded room, but he's still seen as spiderman
