Do we think Kit is on his way back to the UK? he deserves a good while off

Given the state of things in the US right now, I wouldn't be surprised if he's taking the next flight out.

As for the leaf show, I find it a little funny when people knock it, when I'd wager 95% of Kit fans (myself included) became his fans because of the show. I personally love the show and am thankful it exists in a world that is becoming increasingly scary for LGBTQA+ people. I also hope it gets renewed for a final season so we can see the story conclude.

I really think the show is definitely coming back for one last season; it just has to happen. It has a pretty big fanbase, especially in the alphabet community, and let’s be real, it’s the show that made those guys famous. But honestly, it’s always been a bit cringy, hasn’t it? And yeah, everyone’s going to look super grown-up in that final season. If they already looked older in season two, just imagine how they’ll look after everything they’ve been through!

Definitely wouldn't have put money on him being the only straight cast member

The source material is still being written. It was supposed to end on the 5th book until last year before its release when it was announced to end I. The 6th which has yet to get an official release date announced. I know they’re close to the end of it from the we room posts online though, so I’m willing to be they’re just waiting to announce the renewal until they can pair it’s publicity with the final book tour. Believe me, the tour events and book signings have also sold out large venues. Netflix will still get their Pennie’s back on a final season, and the cast clearly love each other IRL and would love to complete the project together

Both of the lead actors spent ALOT more time promoting their other projects than they did the last series of HS, which fell well below expectations in terms of hours viewed... it had it's moment, things move on.

I understand what you are saying, but the leaf show has never had huge numbers, they have always had regular numbers, however, it has cache with awards and ratings and critics and for Netflix that is a win so yes, it will most likely return at some point for its final season
