Kit Connor

Who is the fourth?
I don't want to make this into a big thing, but wanted to say that the age difference is really, really stark in all of the videos I've seen. Not even solely physically, but in terms of their interactions.

@Enjay87 The balding is merely decided by the DNA-information coming from the mother (x-chromosome). So you'd have to meet his grandpa (the father of his mother), to get a real potential glimpse into the future. And even that isn't sure.
But guys like him will always look amazing (just look at his buzzcut-pics).

Do you think that after this series he will end up like Taylor Lautner and fall into oblivion?
I hope not, because he looked to have a really promising career pre-HS.
However, he's not done much off the back of it, unlike several of his co-stars.
I do think the level of fame might have been a bit of a culture shock to him, and maybe had him re-assess.
A bit like Nick Robinson post Love, Simon.

Do you think this is linked to the fact that he is considered an emotional and sexual "object of desire" by fans?

It was probably a bit weird, yeah. He's the youngest of the cast isn't he? And he was always known for being quite shy off camera.
It probably also doesn't help that his offscreen persona seems to have mirrored the character he plays, making it much harder for that parasocial fanbase to separate the two.
Joe and Toby were openly gay, and Kit wasn't openly anything.
He always defaulted to "I'm 18, I don't need to put a label on my sexuality for the public" which immediately became "he identifies as unlabelled and they are still part of the LGBTQ+ family!"... it's just odd behaviour from an increasingly odd fan base, and that must be so fucking tiring every day as a teenager, especially on that scale.
It must make you think "do I want this to be my life going forward?"

He's about to be the lead in a Broadway show this fall and is currently filming a high-profile prestige film via A24. He also has three other films in the can including an animated film with Pedro Pascal and Lupita Nyong'o that will be in theaters in the fall. It may not be as splashy as going full Marvel like Joe but he's been grinding steadily since season 1 of HS. It's not like he has control over when his other projects are released. He was also reportedly attached to an A24 gay horror film with Manu Rios that got killed due to the strikes. Sounded sexy, too.

I will say the two other films he did that are currently looking for distribution look like duds, unfortunately. They can't all be winners, though.

No offense meant here, but... You sounded all scientific and stuff, but you're wrong and passing old wives' tales, urban legends and myths as fact. It has been scientifically proven that you can get it from either side of your family. It's amazing what people believe, especially when it's so easy to google something fast. :joy:
