Kit Connor

Do you think that after this series he will end up like Taylor Lautner and fall into oblivion?

No, for two reasons. One, he is a much, much better actor than Lautner so he doesn't have the same ceiling that Lautner has. Two, he's already doing better than him. Broadway lead and A24 lead following his breakout role. It's pretty clear he wants to be a serious actor and those doors are opening for him.

He's about to be the lead in a Broadway show this fall and is currently filming a high-profile prestige film via A24. He also has three other films in the can including an animated film with Pedro Pascal and Lupita Nyong'o that will be in theaters in the fall. It may not be as splashy as going full Marvel like Joe but he's been grinding steadily since season 1 of HS. It's not like he has control over when his other projects are released. He was also reportedly attached to an A24 gay horror film with Manu Rios that got killed due to the strikes. Sounded sexy, too.

I will say the two other films he did that are currently looking for distribution look like duds, unfortunately. They can't all be winners, though.
Yeah, that's what I mean.
He landed 2 films straight out of the gate and they've both been shelved since their completion because they can't find a distributor.
One of them was essentially just him playing a straight version of the same role he plays in the TV series.
He's doing Broadway, but, I'm talking about his film career. He's done theatre work before, and sadly I think this will be very much aimed at his TV show audience.
The animated film has a strong cast, but it's a small voice role.
The most exciting prospect was the horror film (I had a feeling he was playing the antagonist, which would have been a welcome change) and the new A24 war film/ensemble piece.
Like you say, it looks like the horror film isn't happening.
But these feel like he's taking smaller offers with less pressure than playing Nick Nelson in everything, which is great, but it definitely feels like a conscious effort to distance himself from it all.
And who can blame him?

What’s with all the negativity?! He’s the most booked out of all the actors in his show. He’s only 20. Timothee had his biggest role at 27. A lot of projection happening here.

It wouldn't be LPSG without rampant career speculation from people that never even worked in the industry that tries to tear down the person they're jerking off to.

May I ask a question? Did he say he wasn’t really bisexual? Did I read that correctly? A yes or no will suffice. I don’t want to set off a string of screeching, pissy posts.
