I think we can all chill out and not assume Kit will never play more queer roles, lol.
LOL > it's not a question about whether he'll ever play a "queer role" again > it's more about the timing and selection of those roles from a career management / diversity of character roles perspective as a younger, red-hot 18y/o actor!:)

There are so many fantastic "gay" roles these days and moving forward as well, especially on the global streamers > most talented actors, gay or straight, would love to play them!

It's a lot more complicated than that > cuz Hollywood show biz has ALWAYS involved an uneasy partnership between "Art vs Commerce" where the most talented actors, gay or straight, rarely get cast on pure merit alone! It's often more about bottom-line box-office audience "star appeal" and profitability > which actors will be able to "sell" movies and series to the global paying public!

Throughout long Hollywood history, closeted gay actors have played straight roles in many big-budget, beloved flicks, while big-name straight actors have played "gay" roles in order for ground-breaking LBGTQ movies like "Philadelphia" and "Brokeback Mountain" to obtain the necessary financing to get produced and distributed globally in the first place!

And these Hollywood production economic-related realities aren't going to be changing anytime soon when major investment dollars are required from studios which are in the bottom-line business of making movies and series which global audiences are willing to pay to watch!:(
So, what you're saying is:
So (openly) gay actors are denied access to straight roles constantly, that is the reason for the push LOL.
Like you're giving what some might call "reasons" for why that is. (Others might call them "excuses.") But your long post isn't actually any more "complicated" then my short one. You're just using more words to describe the same situation that I am describing.
I don't think Kit would mind to play Hulkling. I don't think Kit is too anal about playing another gay character.

I think he's more concerned about playing another sweet nice guy type.
Which Hulkling isn't. So I can see him playing that character, he's be perfect for it.
So I'm not super comfortable speculating on if Connor would or would not take another queer role. I want to hope he and his team would not avoid queer roles. I understand that the realities of the buisness, and homophobia in the buisness, makes it possible my hopes would be dashed. Anyway, we'll probably never know for sure, with the leak in the Thomas Dekker Situaiton being a one-time thing. But Hulking is a sweet nice guy type. He's a literal space prince that is such a perfect boyfriend that he and Wiccan were once nearly convinced that Wiccan used his magic to conjure Hulking into existance as the perfect boyfriend. That ... that honestly does some a little familliar to some kind of fantasy/sci-fi Heartstopper fan fic to me, except of course that the comic came out before Heartstopper.

(By the way, I'm not saying in any way that Heartstopper was ripped off of Young Avengers, just that the coincidental similarity between the characters might make Connor/his team raise their eyebrows.

What I'm saying is that it ain't that simple to just state that "openly gay actors are constantly denied straight roles" > without realistically understanding and acknowledging the bottom-line box-office/profit & loss reasons why Hollywood studios and their investors make these casting decisions!

There are lots of GAY studio execs, investors, producers, agents, directors, writers > most of whom would be hugely supportive of gay actors choosing to "come out" > BUT > don't forget that it's the global movie ticket buyers & streaming subscribers who ultimately decide this issue with their $$$$

And the bigger the movie budget, the less risk-averse studios and their investors are to cast an openly gay actor in a major role which may turn off certain global audiences > especially in major global $$$ markets like China, Russia, India which are nowhere near as liberal-minded and embracing of the LBGTQ lifestyle as North America & Europe

These aren't "excuses" > these are the cold hard factual economic realities of Hollywood > which lots of current and former Hollywood actors have previously acknowledged if you invested the time to actually research

omg you people keep talking about his career like you work for the management company can we go back to appreciating how handsome this dude is instead???
It's completely valid to have these conversations, obviously Kit is a very attractive guy, but let's also remember that this is a forum where everyone takes the conversation in certain directions and it's good to talk about the various aspects of where Kit's career can go... not just the fact that he is cute.

Besides, Kit is not like other contemporary actors who live shirtless all the time, his photos have a more refined yet sexy touch.

OMG > you sound like you're waaay too intelligent for this forum!:):)

We actually do agree! But what you classify as "excuses", I maintain quite accurately are actually longtime Hollywood box-office, bottom-line $$$ casting decisions required by nervous investors looking to make a profit, driven by certain global ticket/subscription buyers who sadly won't fork over their $$$ to watch super-talented characters in bigger budget flick starring roles!:(:(

well, let's do the math shall we. he's a born and raised brit. as far as we know he's neither jewish nor muslim. so the chances of him being cut are incredibly low.
not sure why people even bother asking that stuff on non-american celeb's threads
