My top choices for Teddy and Billy were Connor Jessup and Troye Sivan, but I think Marvel wants to go younger, if that Agatha Harkness casting call is to be trusted. Think they’re looking in the Kit/Joe age group.

I think Joshua Basset (Wiccan), Kit (Hulkling) and Noah Schnapp (Speed) would be really good. I have a feeling Kit isn't gonna play a gay character again for a while though. He has very strong Richard Madden leaving his boyfriend at the hotel for the film premiere vibes.
What does this even mean? lol
i'm guessing richard went to a premiere and froy stayed at the hotel instead of also being there as a plus 1
Connor Jessup and Troye Sivan are too old for those parts now, lol. I can see Noah Schnapp doing Wiccan at some point, but he may be afraid of being typecast (among other things) or may want to go to college. Same with Kit even though he's ideal for Hulkling. I can't see his new management wanting him playing major gay role after major gay role even if he's LGBT. But you never know.
Oh lol I do remember that. I was wondering how that remotely connected to Kit in any way (and regarding his casting choices)

I don't think Kit wants to play a gay character again, and yes he is perfect for the Hulkling character but he himself has said he wants to be diverse in his performances and with his characters and he would like to do a darker character in contrast to the sunshine he is in HS so I doubt they would give the role to him, however I see him in the MCU...what superhero? I don't know...or maybe just human..who knows.. only time will tell.

But unlike gay roles, straight roles are not limited. So i kinda want queer roles for queer actors more. Lol but that's just me. Plus i think Kit will do great with what ever roles he get.
From a career broadening perspective, Kit's next "Hollywood" role will be showing his range as a serious actor and portraying a more adult character who is neither gay or as charmingly sweet as Nick Nelson > even Kit has commented in interviews that he's really like to play a character who isn't as sweet, pure and kind-hearted >
So (openly) gay actors are denied access to straight roles constantly, that is the reason for the push LOL.
It's a lot more complicated than that > cuz Hollywood show biz has ALWAYS involved an uneasy partnership between "Art vs Commerce" where the most talented actors, gay or straight, rarely get cast on pure merit alone! It's often more about bottom-line box-office audience "star appeal" and profitability > which actors will be able to "sell" movies and series to the global paying public!
Throughout long Hollywood history, closeted gay actors have played straight roles in many big-budget, beloved flicks, while big-name straight actors have played "gay" roles in order for ground-breaking LBGTQ movies like "Philadelphia" and "Brokeback Mountain" to obtain the necessary financing to get produced and distributed globally in the first place!
And these Hollywood production economic-related realities aren't going to be changing anytime soon when major investment dollars are required from studios which are in the bottom-line business of making movies and series which global audiences are willing to pay to watch!

Kit's still only 18y/o > other Marvel roles will be available down the road for him > the key career priority for him at this point is to showcase his considerable acting talents in a diverse range of character roles, outside of super sweet nice-guy "gay-bi Nick"! And Kit has also said as much a few times in interviews regarding what types of future roles he's like to do next! You can also bet that his in-depth career management chats with WME prior to signing focused heavily on this very same subject!
I think we can all chill out and not assume Kit will never play more queer roles, lol.
