Will be lucky if it starts by the Autumn, i know it will be adapted from the books Alice has already made but will still need work to adapt it for TV, plus stories for the new characters not in the books (Isaac and Imogen) and sets and costume and Paris and all of those lovely logistical headaches.

Kit mentioned that he hopes they start filming S2 in a couple of months but that made it seemed like he already had the script for S2 if it’ll be that quickly. Not to mentioned that Alice herself said she’s taking a long break so maybe she’s not coming back for S2.

She’s taking a break from the comics for a bit. Which is understandable everything’s likely been hectic, for all of them. No reason to think she won’t be there with them when s2 starts filming. Especially with some of the changes that’ll have to be made.

I hope the film both seasons back to back, there's already enough source material to adapt and it would be cheaper production-wise, that way the actors won't change that much psychically through out the seasons. Plus it guarantees that S3 will actually happen, as Netflix could potentially still go back on their word in a year or so.
