Someone said he worked for Microsoft. I don't think that's true - I checked his LinkedIn. Also he's only an industrial engineer, not a Software Engineer. There's not that much money in industrial engineering so it does make sense why he would leave it.

It's literally there on his profile.
He most likely was a vendor or working in an agency as opposed to a full time worker, but I definitely saw him on the Redmond campus when I visited there.
