Need the Blueming Season 2 that they promised me... The show itself never needed a S2 but they shouldn't have committed and misled me lol. The couple was SO GOOD.

Many new (and old) idols who are testing the acting world start by immersing in KBLs first. Perhaps because BLs have lower budget and are more accepting when it comes to rookie actors.
That being said, "BL" (and sometimes in less positive aspect, "Queerbaiting") have been used as concepts for visual and promotional materials in Kpop as well. OnlyOneof is one Kpop group that I know to be embracing BL as their whole concept

. The thing is they actually teased in a post before deleting it, so we can never be sure if we will ever have it.
I think Korea is still a conservative society, I hope that the KBL actors right now would be able to build a strong career in bl so new actors won't be afraid to invest or start their career in bl. Probably it will take some time before the Korean industry will match the Thai industry and how the Thai bl actors like bright and win was able to dominate the industry, and they still can do their lakorns and switch back to their bl feel fan meeting...Many new (and old) idols who are testing the acting world start by immersing in KBLs first. Any of you into Korean gay reality dating shows, like "His Man"? Not sure if there's already a thread for that or if it's alright if we just talk it here, but the 2nd season of "His Man" is coming this month (June 23rd). After several official announcements, we finally have a date and a teaser:
It's still a reality show, so anything happening behind the scenes should actually be less dramatic than what they show. But the first season was entertaining at least and I was always anticipating for the next episode to come every week. It was kinda fun to deduce who would end up with whom (even though the end-goal couples at the end of the 1st season didn't actually stay as couples in real life, so many interesting stuffs revealed online outside the show like on Youngjay's YouTube channel, etc.), and some of the contestants were certified eye candies.

it came up on twitter as suggested tweet, it's from a Korean twitter user account, i do have a feeling that it looks to me like a regular korean indie movie, but i don't know...the actors seem familiar, like I've seen them before but i'm not sure....Where did you get this? I also have no idea what this is

I mean, OnlyOneOf members have been serving BLs in almost all of their MVs, because that's just their concept in general. And they seem quite open about portraying homoerotic scenes (it's always nice to see the behind-the-scenes footages as well). At least now I have higher hopes to see a real depiction of a romantic kiss, instead of watching fake kiss angles or no-kiss-at-all like many other recent Kpop groups who have done BL dramas.

OMG!!! Thank you so much, I super love them...I have to say though Jo Chanhyun is omg cute by one second, but seriously, they're all so cute!!!! It's interesting that Yim and War are working closely with Korean productions. Their short BL was filmed in Korea I think, i'm not totally sure. But the Bed Friend guys OMG, they have this super perfect chemistry. I'm excited for this series...Ooh, finally, the cast of 준과 준 a.k.a. "Jun and Jun".
