Sadly I doubt we'll be seeing him with Jiwoong anytime soon .
Interesting. Well, joined projects between the 2 countries are becoming more and more common, especially since they're sharing fans. Thailand has been producing "BL" longer, while South Korea is kinda "new" but has been known to produce better quality works. They should learn from each other.View attachment 97501161
Apparently there was like a BL fan meeting hosted in Korea, interesting that the Korean producers are connecting with Thai productions. I kinda like the co-production because both countries really produces great BL's well most of it...
very well said, i totally...totally agree, by joining forces both productions wins on those two countries. i think the Korean productions though has better script, better stories, but there are thai productions that excels as well like the billkin pp movie i told sunset about you, moonlight chicken is also great. But if it's a rushed production then it's not gonna be good. I think the Korean productions are more careful when it comes to the quality of their films, it's always very well thought of.Interesting. There's also a teaser trailer somewhere out there, but there's no sub yet, so maybe later.
i forgot about the eight sense, i have to go back and start it again, these days there's just a lot of bl it's confusing lolMore behind the scenes for "The Eighth Sense". Covering the part when the characters made love for the first time .
It was rather slow paced in the beginning, but you really should continue watching it because the series was so cinematic, kinda reminds me of "I Told Sunset About You" (obviously different story, just a similar vibe ).i forgot about the eight sense, i have to go back and start it again, these days there's just a lot of bl it's confusing lol
Oh wow....i am so in love with billkin and pp at i told sunset, i think you're right what turned me off is the slow first episode, lol...i will try to go through it again. to be honest, i like the first season of i told sunset, not so much on the second season, but maybe because first seasons are usually the best...It was rather slow paced in the beginning, but you really should continue watching it because the series was so cinematic, kinda reminds me of "I Told Sunset About You" (obviously different story, just a similar vibe ).
Yes, please hang in there at least until episode 6 if you can . I must admit that the series has so many anxiety-inducing moments, but the ending is quite wholesome.Oh wow....i am so in love with billkin and pp at i told sunset, i think you're right what turned me off is the slow first episode, lol...i will try to go through it again. to be honest, i like the first season of i told sunset, not so much on the second season, but maybe because first seasons are usually the best...
I haven't started star struck yet, and yes I will really hang on to that other BL, i think it will be ok, i should just focus so i don't get bored. That's really weird that they do that considering that tons of K BL had given not only a satisfying kissing finale scenes but a really convincing romantic performance. Probably they need to watch how other productions had done their stuffs 'cause for the love of Harry Potter I hope the KBL don't bring us back to the quick kiss of Sotus years. In the sad corner of BL news, "Star Struck" has decided to queerbait people with an infamous fake kissing scene angle technique .
I know that one of the main actors is a well-known idol, but if you're attached to a BL project, then you should commit to it, the right way. I'm not even asking for a sexual scene, but in a competitive BL series era, a romantic kiss is the least thing they could've done . Just disappointing.
You're totally right, it doesn't make sense that they're doing that. I was thinking, maybe to generate their capital back, probably it's a good idea to first run a movie version and then wait couple of months, release it in several parts as a series, that to me makes more sense...Posters for the movie version that's coming to local theaters this month for "Where Your Eyes Linger" (we discussed this in past posts, still don't know why they always have to create the movie cut for most BL series , especially since this one has already a released movie version, maybe because now it's a "theatrical-release" version for cinema-goers) and "Unintentional Love Story".
I really missed Nadao to be honest, I love how they make their MV's and OST, and yes Billkin has tons of remarkable songs in Season 1, maybe they have a different director or somethin for second season, because something is really so different. As for the KBL, I think watcha is a good production company, they know quality. I forgot something, the Bite Me series where the guy fell in love with the chef written by Sammon, that production company made a quality movie, although Bite Me is mega slow, and I feel like its hypnotizing me to sleep, the leads are cute though...they gave me reasons to stay away, maybe it's the cooking aspect 'cause the show seems more like a cooking show lol, but in fairness, it has a great story, i enjoyed that series as well.Yes, please hang in there at least until episode 6 if you can . I LOVE "I Told Sunset About You" so much , it's literally my number 1 Thai BL of all time, personally there hasn't been anything close to it in the Thai BL department. Too bad Nadao Bangkok (the company that produces the mini-series) has decided to abandon its talent management industry (their actors and works were mostly good ) and I'm not sure if it still produces movies or any work anymore at all. At least now Billkin and PP have created their own company individually and still work together closely from time to time.
I'm also NOT a fan of "I Promised You the Moon". It had a different director & I could tell that the whole vibe was different. In general the acting was still great because the actors are great, the production has enough budget and the script is actually more on the realistic side. But the whole theme of "cheating" kinda destroyed the characters' development in a sense. It's quite hard to sympathize or to forgive from a watcher's perspective (at least from mine ). And last but not least, I only like one song from the sequel, while I like almost all of the songs from the 1st season.
