I think Monkey Pox has killed spa culture.
Raising prices and shortening hours at the JJimjilbangs damaged them. While people were working from home and getting extra money, it worked. But now people are stuck in traffic and getting trashy private industry checks. And there is covid but they also feel the not necessarily true threat of disfigurement.
I went to Chung Dam yesterday and they put up signs on the sauna and steam room doors that said “No Inappropriate Acts” with the “no” symbol imposed over two interlocked male symbols lol. But of course guys were still fooling around.
I have a straight friend who likes being naked, I took him to Chung Dam a couple years ago on a day where luckily it wasn’t cruisey but it seems like that’s all Chung Dam ever is. Is Island Spa in NJ less so? Or does it depend on the day?

Was in SF and checked out Kabuki spa this past weekend on Saturday afternoon. It was a bit slow at first but later in the afternoon it picked up.

Pre-Coronavirus pandemic, I would periodically visit a large spa in NY. Everyone was pretty much friendly, including the employees. Some of the lifeguards would shower prior to or after their shift amongst the customers. There’s one in particular who had to have at least an forearm’s length of dick. No lie. It was awesome being in the shower are with him. He was straight and nothing happened. He was just amazing to see. There were others who tried to be modest, but you could still see them at certain angles. Dick and ass. Beautiful sights.

Anybody gone the the DC area Spas lately? Has monkey pox had any impact on folks going?
I went on Saturday and again on Tuesday. The nude bathing is almost 100% gay with play being more open. Very popular with black and latino bros.
