Korean Spa

I went on Saturday and again on Tuesday. The nude bathing is almost 100% gay with play being more open. Very popular with black and latino bros.
nyc needs a nice gay sauna so people can stop using the actual spas lol

By gay sauna you mean a bathhouse, right? I find an "actual sauna" much more erotic than a bathhouse. I find the bathhouse experience so "transactional" and obvious. At a regular spa, there's real excitement in the cruising process.

Ahh I love that, I definitely want to check it out. I always go to sojo, but it’s far and EXPENSIVE. Not too much into cruising though, I just really enjoy being nude around other men

yes thats what i mean. At a regular spa there are people and familys just trying to chill. Saunas are an amazing place to relax, get clean, rejuvenate, and spend time with others. That's becoming even harder in the US because gay men are trying to use them all for sex.

I'm glad you called this out. I'm gay and very sex-positive. But that's not what these Korean Spas should be for. When I'm trying to relax and shouldn't be asked if I want a handjob in the steam room.

I’m not trying to be catty but why are you both in this thread then? This has essentially turned into an entire thread about cruising Korean spas. If 20 guys at a spa feel like playing and 5 don’t, feels like majority rules and you should maybe try to go when it’s slower and not as busy so you can relax or whatever. Just a thought.

What about the old Korean guys the spa was built for? Does their opinion on this situation matter?

At the spa I go to, the older Korean guys are either down to play or the steam room clears out whenever they come in and people wait for them to leave. Same with the straight guys or if a kid shows up. It’s really not that complicated. I’ve also been to South Korea and had hot cruising experiences there.

At Descanso Spa LA. Lots of big Armenians wearing very sweaty shorts in sauna. Any other guys ever make it here?
Was thinking of going in a couple weeks. Are they wearing the shorts in the tubs too or just the sauna? How was it besides the shorts issue?
I like nearby CJ Grand. No shorts anywhere but I was literally the only one not covering with a full sized towel on the bottom and another towel draped over the neck.
While we’re on the topic of sweat, I feel like I frequently see guys come out of a sauna drenched in sweat and go straight to the cold or hot tubs. I see this at spas all over. It was my understanding that one should always rinse with a cold shower when leaving the saunas before entering any hot or cold tub. What does everyone else think?

Wearing the shorts everywhere. Some chill guys came later. It's very low key, maybe a bit of tugging, maybe not, which suits my pace. Got a bracing scrub!

I'm sorry but the vibes are just different when its a bunch of guys eyeing you down cause they notice youre naked versus when ppl are just chilling and dont give af.
