Where are these showers and why didn’t that guy go inside the shower stall?
Also…are people actually out there filming in these communal shower rooms? Or are the guys aware they’re being filmed?

They're both American. Yes, it's true, this is a spy video, they were recorded and didn't realize it.
The crazy thing about this video series is that there are a lot of them. Whoever was doing the recording was getting away with it for a long time. No idea how they were.
The main guy rinsed off outside the shower stall because he couldn't fit in the stall with the bench. But his buddy, the baseball player guy, he showered with the curtain totally open.
I remember seeing one of the blurred videos one time but I can't find it anymore. Do you have the blurred ones even?
Even though this gym has individual and curtained stalls, both of these guys shower with the curtain open. The main guy showers in the other videos with the curtain open the entire time. He definitely has experience showering in communal showers and so has a predisposition to just being naked in the locker room and showering in the open. I think it's just the culture that they were conditioned in as prime athletes (both of these guys played semi-pro/minor league). And why not? Embrace it. Not ashamed to be men.

I know by the look of the shower area that this is a 24-Hour Fitness gym. I'm quite familiar with the men's shower areas in these gyms.
