W4yV works more on Ch1na because they sing in Chinese. And the public and the government there are brutal with scandals. He won't go back there. That's why I thought that the best opportunity was for me to return in the year-end song where everyone appears, but it wasn't like that.

Also, SuperM was very successful but half of the reason it started was to give members (Baekhyun, Taemin, Kai) more to do while EXO and SHINee members were on enlistment. They were hugely successful with album sales and their tour during that time. Then their members came back, SHINee and EXO had big comebacks (esp SHINee) and then shortly after they enlisted themselves.
People definitely talk about them and remember them a lot.

They sold a lot for the fandoms of each group, it's true they were successful in that. Although it should also be noted that in the kpOp industry, selling 1 million does not mean that 1 million people bought it. It's probably 200,000 or less which increases the numbers by buying a lot.
Likewise, no one is asking for Sup3rM to come back. It was a project that, as it began, ended. Without warning.
And speaking of Luc4s, it will not take place in a practically disintegrated group either

Nobody here actually knows anything about his status other than the fact that he is on a hiatus, so there is no point to speculating here. Artists like Chanyeol and Irene were on hiatus for 7-10 months before they returned after their scandals. Lucas has only been gone for 5 months and it would have made no sense for him to have been apart of the projects so soon after his hiatus announcement.
Chanyeol and Irene scandals were very different. Furthermore, the way the company handled Lucas' situation was extremely telling vs literally any scandals they have ever faced.
SM tends to twist and lie through any scandal, and with him they straight up made him apologize and then had a pretty damning apology themselves. Notice how for Chanyeol they denied from the start and sued the friend of the ex into oblivion, but never even brought up the actual ex again.
Irene got literally caught on a recording, and SM didnt announce anything until after they met with the stylist. And that case involved a grown adult who herself asked for an apology and got it, so in the end that was resolved in a different manner.
Take for instance Yunho, he was allegedly found in an illegal sex club and allegedly ran away from police, 6 months later SM acts like he has been cleared and done time for Covid violations lmao
They are experts at obfuscating the "truth" and salvaging their idols from literally anything.
So yea we can speculate based on the prior handling of controversies. Furthermore, he was removed from the SuperM Korean Air Music Video, his music parts were rerecorded by Mark and Kai. He was completely wiped out of anything from the Wayv 3rd Anniversary in a very SNSD kind of way with their ex-members.
Anyway, people keep asking for updates but the handling of his case vs literally anyone else has been very different, hence the speculation.

It’s a merch re-stock, as in new production of old merch, and his poster was actually the first to sell out so they had to re-stock it again and that’s what you see now.
Not sure what’s not clicking for you about the concept of a -hiatus- but he was very obviously not going to be a part of the newest season’s greetings just a few weeks after he announced he’d be halting all his activities for a period of reflection.
However, the point is if they wanted to “wipe out” his existence entirely as you were suggesting, they wouldn’t have restocked, sold, and restocked AGAIN his merch. It would have been very easy to make it unavailable.
