@James bond 007 the first man I was ever with just turned 49. He has been caring for his mom for at least 10 years.. with help, but not so much from his family. He travels a lot, for work and also does the gay thing of visiting all kinds of far flung places. And recently bought a condo in Ft Lauderdale ...

He's had a strained relationship with alcohol for years. Stuck in a mode of fucking married guys (like me) when he just needs to get off. Not a lot of friends.

I completely admire his devotion to caring for his mom. He is first gen Polish... strong good values and depressed by the state of his life, im sure drinking over it, and how the rest of his family, married much older siblings with kids and grandkids, would likely have just stuck mom in some retirement or nursing home of he wasn't there to get the job done.

I keep telling him, your time will come. I know it will for him.
