Am I being too sensitive about this?
My husband and I take the same medication, except he abuses tf out of his, i.e. a 30 day supply will last him 4-6 days. I recently started on the same medication and it began with him taking 2-3 total but quickly escalated to him taking 3-9 per day. I’ll get a 30 day supply and get to take it maybe 5 days before it’s gone. I’ve asked/told him to stop and he doesn’t. I’ve tried hiding the bottle but he finds it. I would quit taking it but it actually helps me.
It’s ironic, he’s on a medication for opioid dependency and hates the term “addict” but will take just about anything legal to get stoned. I literally ordered a lockable pill container so I don’t have to guard the bottle 24/7.
