Just went to Therme Wien, 10/10. It is true that it is a bit expensive but it was worth it. I arrived at 2 pm and there was a quite a few guys in the male part, a group of young hung guys and bit older fit men. At first was difficult to not to get hard but I got used to the nakedness and then it was easy to control it. About the action, it is very subtle, but it is easy to notice when someone is in that mood. I had a small jerk of session in the showers at the entrance and even a guy came in my mouth. It was in a shower set next to the entrance to the male area that almost is not used. I went there to shower before going to the mixed area and found some guys already jerking off and I just joined. Those guys were a bit lucky that it was me who entered. But it is not at all visible and you have to be very vigilant to see if someone comes.

Am I correct that you need a spa ticket (around 38 euro per day) and a sauna ticket (13 euro per day)? Or is the sauna part not the interesting part?

Yeah, I paid 38 for the entrance for the day with locker, and 13 to enter to the area where the saunas are, which are the nude parts.

There is the main area, where there are all the big pools for the general public, like families with children. I think there are also some whirpools and spa-like facilities there, but no saunas.

And then there is the sauna areas, with pool, showers and relaxing spaces. There is the mixed one, it is bigger and has more saunas, one whirpool, one big pool outside and one small indoor pool. And the male part has like 3-4 saunas, one whirlpool outside and one small pool inside, as well as relaxing beds and stuff.

Everything was in german so it was hard to understand everything at the beginning.

In short, in other to get naked you have to pay the 13 extras. Also nudity is mandatory for the sauna but you can move around in a towel or in a robe. Most people don't do it though.

Having lived in Beijing for about 10 years I've seen my fair share of gay and mixed saunas. The gay ones don't last long because they are technically illegal here and the owners have to pay the police to turn a blind eye until they can't anymore.

That being said, of the mixed saunas there is one that has been claimed by the gays called 汤悦 (tangyue) specifically the Sanlitun Branch (Armani). The bathing areas are fully nude and separated by gender. Upstairs in the sauna guys fuck about--jerking off and sucking. The staff mostly turn a blind eye and if you aren't too brazen nothing much will happen to you.

It's relatively cheap and the amenities in the clothed area are nice. I'd recommend it to visitors.

Yeah i am a Therme Wien fan and go frequently in winter. The best thing is the total freedom to be naked in the spa/sauna area. I leave my towel and explore naked, feels great. On a busy day you’ll see hundreds of handsome guys if you stay a few hours. And plenty of nice cocks
