New Measures To Combat Bullying And Unnecessarily Mean Posts On Lpsg

Well, there was one individual who was bullying me and others. It was really annoying. I tried not to respond.

In an unrelated post he revealed some very minor thing about his past. I remarked, "Well, that explains a lot."

That simple remark was reported, deleted, and I was accused of being "mean."

I mean, really? Grow some onions. This "can dish it out, but can't take it" bullshit has to go. Snowflakes are free to fire the first shot, but if you fire back, watch your ass!
Well if that is really all that went down. Definitely seems like a stretch imho. Not sure what about that was that bad lol. I've seen much worse stay up for much longer. Smh

Believe me, the individual in question was acting like a real, snarky, Queen. I now avoid him. Regardless of our sexual orientaion, we don't need Drama Queens here.

So many guys on this site jump all over anyone who prefers younger, thinner (legal!) guys and say stuff like, “ I don’t like little boys, I like MEN!” They insinuate themselves into discussions about young guys and start spouting this nonsense, as if their taste in men is the only “correct“ taste. I don’t prefer hairy, older muscular guys, but I don’t make a nuisance of myself on Tom Selleck et al threads. LIVE AND LET LIVE.

I wholeheartedly agree with this effort to make LPSG more user-friendly. I have never understood the blatant name-calling between grown (?) men. It has no place in discussions which SHOULD from time to time spark disagreement. We can agreeably disagree state our opinion and hone the art of persuasion. If we still disagree so be it; there's no place for personal attacks and character assassination.

My goal has always been for LPSG to be a sexy, friendly, and enjoyable community. I want everyone to feel welcome here. I want your experience at LPSG to be as positive as possible. Hence, this message to all of you.

There is one part of LPSG that has bothered me since I took over. That is the nastiness shown towards some performers. While this behavior is a very small part of LPSG it can be so nasty it makes all of LPSG look bad. There are some threads and comments that are hard to read. I think this is unfair, unwarranted and something we'd like to change.

Starting today we are going to make LPSG a nicer place.

The first thing we'd like to do is reduce is the number of unnecessarily mean comments.
A mean comment is one that intends, is meant, to hurt someone.

Examples of Unnecessarily Mean Comments....
  • They're/You're Ugly
  • They're/You're Fat
  • They're/You're skinny
  • They're/You're dumb
These are just a few examples.
Instead of posting "Mr. LPSG's Ugly" Post "Mr. LPSG's Not My Type".

Better yet, if you don't have anything nice to say don't comment. There seems to be this desire by a few Members to make performers feel worse about themselves. If you are posting to simply try to attack a performer please don't.

How will Unnecessarily Mean Comments be Handled?

First, it is important to remember LPSG works on a reporting system. So as this type of content is reported our team will review it and make a decision.

If the post was made before today it will be edited (to remove the mean part) or deleted.
If the post is made after today....
1st time. The user will receive a friendly reminder from us.
2nd time. The user will receive a warning.
If the user continues this behavior, they may end up being banned, either temporarily or permanently.

Being unnecessarily mean adds no value to a thread or to LPSG; not to mention it indirectly impacts the people who may like that particular performer. Repeated mean comments are a form of bullying towards a performer or person and that isn't acceptable. Users who do this will also be banned from posting in that thread in the future.

CyberBullying
There are two key factors that determine whether someone is bullying someone else or not.
1. The intent to harm
2. Repeated acts of threat or aggressive behavior.
This too will not be allowed on LPSG.

What are some forms of such bullying?
Nasty and humiliating comments
Sharing photos for the sole purpose of ridiculing someone
False information that can be damaging to the person's reputation

We will also not allow
Doxxing.
Trying to out a person.
Threatening to contact their family.
Trying to cancel a person.
Trying to hurt a person's reputation.
Sharing social media photos of someone's family (namely parents).

These are all forms of abuse that we do not want on LPSG.

Anyone making posts with such content that are reported will receive a warning; multiple warnings could lead to a ban. Any user who receives a warning for this may be banned from replying to that thread again in the future.

Please note... We are not asking users to go on a mass reporting crusade. Mass reporting is very disruptive to our moderating team. In general, if you have a few posts to report try to limit it to 5. That allows us to get to the really important reports like illegal content, spam, and harmful links.

Let me assure you this is in no way an attempt to censor you. You can still speak your mind. You are free to say when a performer is not worth the money. You are free to post when you've been scammed. You can talk about being disappointed and underwhelmed by a performer.

We are just asking you to be a little more mindful about the posts you make. The less negativity found on LPSG the more enjoyable it will be for all of us.

My goal is to make LPSG a more enjoyable community for all LPSG Users. I believe these measures will be a huge step in the right direction.

If you have any comments or suggestions regarding this I'm all ears. Thank you for reading and being here!

Thanks to all in advance for your cooperation.
Mr. LPSG and the LPSG Team!
I agree, I have noticed when someone asks to see a celebrity/model's penis picture and someone is able to find one and post it, then everyone jumps on their back saying "It's a fake" "It's photoshopped" Some are fake and altered, but some are also real. So maybe just let the person who posted it enjoy the moment that he/she posted something everyone wanted to see instead of dumping on them.

The internet seems to thrive off of bringing people down rather than building them up :(

Mr. LPSG and the LPSG Team!
I am in full agreement with you, and you have my support.

well i have a friend who got banned for saying that nikocado avocado is a freak (it was a joke obv) and some ppl took my friend as a bully lol
I'd love to know who your friend is. I can assure you that is 100% untrue. Nobody gets banned for one post unless they are spamming or doing something illegal. My guess is your friend has decided to paint a rosy picture for you that may not be accurate. Let me know their username.

it happens to me everytime i come to the site but i click ignore and they vannish but my ignore list gets larger and i hate that because enough drama in the world as it is.

I will reiterate one of the points I made to Mr. LPSG via email because I think it's important.

I would hope the mods take the context of conversation into consideration when dealing with "being mean" in future? Just my two cents though. I often see toxic and rude comments stay up and then the people replying (in a heated way, understandably) get the warning and or ban? It doesn't seem super fair to me. But I don't know. Just something I hope the mods consider
well said THANK YOU for realizing that too, just wish everyone felt that way.

ikr it does not sound real but i fucking died laughing when he told me about it. he also said it was a long time ago since he got banned but he made another account shortly after.

Typical of what's been happening here, and why I rarely come here anymore.
More ridiculous cancel culture rules.
I've been a member since 2008. Now it's no fun anymore. This rule and that rule.
I won't be renewing.
Sorry you feel that way. A lot has changed since 2008, and cyber bullying is a pretty real concern that has some pretty real legal consequences in some cases. Harassment, slander and libel have always been.

It's funny that you mention cancel-culture, because being a place for actual cancel campaigns is something that was mentioned as well. Actual cancel culture has to do with someone taking offence to something someone said or did, and using social platforms to spark mass harassment and slander campaigns that go out of control and are used to force someone into 'accountability' or make them de-platform and disappear, often losing their jobs, reputations and entire social support circle in the process. That's also not what we want to be presiding over.

Regardless of that, we don't need to be Mother Theresa, and we appreciate your love of the Wild West approach to free speech. However, there has to be a line drawn somewhere, and we're not interested in being a platform for people who get their kicks running people down, or trying to destroy their lives or livelihoods.

If you read the OP for this thread, this is pretty specific, and mostly has to deal with external complaints we get from people who are not part of our community. Some of the hate that we have had to deal with in the past goes beyond wanting to just be a typical keyboard warrior with an edgy attitude.

I try to keep it fun and lift people up when I post. Recently I had a negative (or at least I perceived it that way) as a response I made in the Et-Cetera section. Honestly, we all are guilty from time to time of an on-the-fly response that gets under our skin. I thought about my response to her and asked that my post get deleted because I mainly did not want to engage in an online argument with her.

We never really know what is going on with others and what their situation in life is. We do have some members that seem to thrive on cyber confrontation / bullying. A sad fact for sure, but hey, I guess it takes all kinds.

For the moderators: Thanks for all you do to keep this site up and running AND doing the best you can to remove the obvious vitriol.

I mentionned not long ago that many mods don’t follow these guidelines. And I got called out by LPSG for it.

And now I just reported this post and had to report it again, because the moderator would not remove it.

how is this ok to stay up? It’s just legit negative comments / made up BS that serves nothing but to show hate to someone and tarnish their name.

Really hope LPSG will inform their mods properly, and follow their own rules.

but if you look closer , those are contrasting views of a 'Expert member' and a 'Loved member'
sometimes being right , wont make people love you

So you are saying that people shouldn't report bad behavior on here so that they can be loved? That one brought me right back to grade school. It is a clear instance of where the moderator should have acted to fix this as the posts clearly go against the standards that are set on this board. I've had similar experiences here where I reported someone bashing me and the moderator, at first, refused to take it down.
