Is the qaf reboot actually good though? I've seen mixed reviews tbh. This is already very off topic. I apologise folks but I was just curious why you rank it above Heartstopper.Queer as Folk (original)>Will & Grace>Elite>Young Royals>Queer as Folk (reboot)>Love, Victor>Heartstopper
1. It's not good. It's very more dramatic and political than the og. Also, not very delivering in the nudity department, which is what the og was known for. The male lead, Fin Argus, is hot af, but only has a single nude scene. It's a GREAT closeup of his bubble butt, but he's in drag and the skirt is distracting as was his tucking tape, nice to see what that looks like tbh, only hear the queens on Drag Race talk about it. If they do get a second season, hopefully, Fin gets to show his ass more. Otherwise, the show is very pandering and is trying to explain a ton of stories in one episode. I'd skip it unless you wanna hear fifty million conservation about political and social issues in the gay community. Is the qaf reboot actually good though? I've seen mixed reviews tbh. Ironically, I've seen more straight girls talk about that show than gays itself xD I don't care about that show eitherI don't care about Heartstopper
Never seen a scene from it, never heard of it till a couple weeks ago, and I'm never gonna watch it. I don't care. Besides the gay school romance genre is so pandering to me. I prefer sitcoms and adult animation on my Netflix.Sidenote: I believe y’all dislike Heartstopper only because it doesn’t feature any sexual scenes, and I’m not gonna believe otherwise.
I mean….it wasn’t really directed towards you since you’ve never watched it.Never seen a scene from it, never heard of it till a couple weeks ago, and I'm never gonna watch it. I don't care. Exactly, I HATE romance super cheesy and full of colors. That's not real life lolthe gay school romance genre is so pandering to me.
Lmao why u feel so attacked? He's just giving his opinion about a crappy show xDI mean….it wasn’t really directed towards you since you’ve never watched it.
Thank you for alllll of this. 100% correctNewsflash: multiple shows and stories can coexist without comparison and be able to impact people in different ways….
I don’t see the point in tearing down any of these shows that are trying to tell a story about queer people and their journeys. I’m just grateful that more stories are being told and accessible since many people weren’t able to see a version of themselves on TV. I’m a fan of all of the shows mentioned for that reason. I just don’t get the internets obsession with comparing one thing to crap on the other.

The original US QAF was political as fuck. Did you only fast forward to the sex scenes? Most of the storyline were protest against anti gay laws, closing down night jobs, adopting children etc...1. I watched it, just skipped over boring parts, not the full-on dialogue. The original US QAF was political as fuck. Did you only fast forward to the sex scenes? Most of the storyline were protest against anti gay laws, closing down night jobs, adopting children etc...
Also Fin is not the male lead in the reboot. I think the reboot is great!
I don't dislike it, it's just not very good, badly written and completely out of touch unless teenagers are supposed to act like human teletubbies. it's gay representation and beggars can't be choosers but i'm not gonna pretend it's some masterpiece just bc it's one of like three gay centered teen shows.Newsflash: multiple shows and stories can coexist without comparison and be able to impact people in different ways….

Unlike “the va**ine will prevent the spread of covld”, the above statement contains accurate information and I would swear to that in a court of law.i can also confirm he isnt straight or at the very least actively hooks up with men privately.
