Thinking we should start a thread, with contributions from those interested, in NAKED/NUDE BEACHES:
Location, comfort level, crowd (straight end of the beach vs. gay..), show off and action areas..

Who knows.. we might even end up with members being able to meet up with other members -- when they'll have their junk on display etc.. and perhaps there are local 'guides' who'd introduce/take visiting members to those beaches?..

My fave is Haulover north of Miami. On a sunny weekend, you'll see several hundred people (gay/straight/young/old) in the warm surf. There's a gay area at the north of end of the beach (look for the rainbow umbrellas), but there are gay guys scattered all over the place.

On the West Coast, Marshall's Beach in SF is very close to the Golden Gate Bridge and attracts a lot of guys when the weather cooperates (which is only about a dozen days a year). It's a bit of a rocky hike down to the beach area, but once you're there the views are amazing (and there's lots of action going on behind the rocks )). Nearby is Baker Beach--which is much more accessible--but there are a lot more tourists and gawkers. The vibe at Baker has changed over the years--fewer naked people it seems.

Herring Cove Beach, In Provincetown, Cape Cod, is a great spot. The gay section is all the way left…commonly known as Boys Island. Also on Cape Cod is Longnook Beach in Truro. Longnook is a mixed gender beach. Both fun, relaxing, and different. Enjoy!

Swanbourne Beach in Perth is a must. On a hot summer day there can be hundreds and hundreds of naked people on the beach. The northern end is the traditional Gay zone, although gay guys inhabit the entire beach. It's a must if you are in Perth!!!!

As you're writing from Australia, this obviously refers to Perth in (Western) Australia -- and not 'the original' in Scotland :joy::joy:

The only one I've gone to is Gunnison in NJ. On a weekend day, there is an endless supply of cocks. Since it's run by the NPS, everyone is generally pretty well behaved. I don't like that you can't drink there anymore but I still have fun when I go. Getting there without a car from NYC can be a hassle but plenty of people seem to make it work.

I’ve contributed to similar threads but happy to share info. about our local San Diego nude beach, Black’s Beach. It is (IMHO) the best beach in all of San Diego, clothing optional, or not. The north end of the beach is generally considered “the gay” section although everyone is very chill and I’ve never witnessed any homophobia. I typically don’t go that far up the beach so I can’t comment on any activities that may go on. There is rarely any overt sexual activity in the “straight” area. I have observed a few erections & and manual stimulation which is subtle and discrete.

There is “Little Beach” on Maui which is also wonderful but our recent visit there revealed a large gate (which is apparently locked after 5:00 PM) and several “No Nudity” signs, which are ignored but are off-putting and seemed to have scared some folks off ....

Happy Sunning All!,,,

Here is my view at Black’s Beach last summer ...... :))

In the Portland, Oregon area there are two: Collins Beach on Sauvie Island and Rooster Rock in the gorge. Both are sandy beaches on the Columbia River. Collins is more heavily monitored, and I believe they've outlawed alcohol after some particularly rowdy summer days.

On any given sunny day at either there will be people out enjoying the sun. Rooster Rock's extreme east end seems to be where the fellas go for, well, what fellas go for and occasionally there will be a hetero couple up to some fun in the bushes, too. The water level at RR is a big deal - when it's low enough you can walk out to an island with a huge sandy beach and when it's too high there's no beach at all and just mud. Lots of mud.

Collins' rowdy area is supposedly at the far north end, but I've never seen anything fun going on AND there are kids there like all the time. On most days it's not a good place to bang.

A New Jersey Guy here so always props for Gunnison at Sandy Hook (Gateway National Park.) plusses it is a great natural area beach no boardwalks view of the New York and Brooklyn Skylines. (yes you can see coney Island, Cons it is a bit of a hike to get to, they allow picnicking but no alcohol, as a natural area part of the beach is closed off to walking and sunbathing during parts of the summer (bird nesting area) Gay section to the far right as you face the ocean and walk toward the beach.

in my travels, Love Haulover in North Miami, great beach and easy access by car. (there are also bus routes that pass it. ) plusses, food trucks in the clothing optional area if your forget to bring drinks or get hungry. they also have showers in the clothing optional area. meaning shower naked dry off and put clothes on to leave... Gay section near the north end on your left as you face the water.

Blacks Beach North of San Diego,
great natural beach, ocean temps on the colder side but perfect for sunset swims. hike to get to i mean either down the cliff or up from La Jolla worth the trip!

Platja de La Mar Bella Barcelona
easy to get to also has beach chair and umbrella rental
food and drinks right there as well. no negatives in my book gay friendly secluded yet close to the city
