However, in this instance, he's a celeb who has some measure of control over things like this, he could have asked fans to desist (if he did, then okay) to make life easier for him. The post I quoted mentioned the groping was something that happened on tour, meaning it happened repeatedly on numerous tour stops. Surely at some point if you're fed up, you just ask fans to back off? It's not like he's in danger of losing fans over that.

Again you seem to think everything is black & white. If you keep getting mugged while walking a particular route, the muggers shouldn't have done it to begin with, but you as the person walking should also consider taking a different route or protecting yourself.

Nick Jonas is not your average person, he's a celeb who wields power over his fans. My point was that if this made him uncomfortable or happened repeatedly, he's in a position to make his voice heard and tell his fans to stop, which I'm not sure he did, meaning he may not actually be uncomfortable with it, who knows.
