The funny thing is that most of these guys do NOT make content worthy enough of such user-unfriendly "protection" lol.
Wish I had read this before signing Ross Dalton, now I don't know how to download the DRM videos.
Sad, even to watch the quality is reduced, when I click to change the quality this happens

Yep. The way you know it's DRM encrypted, is that the video always plays back in low quality at first. Then if you try to mess with the quality, it's shitty load fest.
The absolute worst idea
I can't even view vids that have DRM turned on. They just keep buffering over and over. It's so bad that I just requested a refund from Onlyfans. They can't seriously charge money for a site that doesn't even stream properly. Fuck them.
Also is it true that DRM is turned on by default for every content creator now? Because I just asked a guy if his DRM is turned on or not (I've resorted to asking guys on Twitter BEFORE I join) and he didn't even know what DRM was. He said no one has complained about buffering issues so he assumed his is turned off. I don't feel like paying $10 to find out.

I also dont think the title of this thread is accurate, there are still many creators with it off so it doesn't seem that it is being turned on proactively by OF. I think it is more likely an easy excuse to try to blame OF when someone calls out a creator about it, "wasn't me, must have been them."
It’s honestly hard to say. They could blatantly be lying to us. And they may do that so it makes us look at them better. But idk I do find it a little hard to believe that the si would willing turn that setting on for everyone especially since the sight themselves actually knows that DRM causes issues for the fans. I doubt they’d wasn’t to put the creators at risk for losing fans based on the possible issues the setting would bring. Of the 4 people I asked. 2 knew and left it on. 1 supposedly didn’t know & turned it off. And the last supposedly didn’t know about it said that he’d turn it off but he never did so I unsubbed.
What pisses me off? That regardless of this OF didn’t notify us of this change happening so there are still so many fans in the dark not knowing about the issues.
And something that should be noted is there were users I was subscribed to. That didn’t have the setting on at the start of may & it stayed that way. And there were also users that didn’t have it on and magically a couple days later their videos had it. So it’s definitely a strong possibility they knew & just are liars.
To be fair I think the title is ok. No one at the start fully knew what was going on. And I don’t think LPSG let’s us change the names of threads on a whim. I checked my thread & it didn’t seem to even offer an option to change it. I was on this straight guys account and it's been fine since he made it. Recently, I saw the low quality/endless buffer nonsense start to happen. Check with a downloader and sure enough, it's DRM protected now.
I messaged the straight guy and he was acting like he had zero clue why the stuttering was happening. I mentioned the DRM activation happening 2 videos back and he went radio silent.
I have a feeling many of these creators are PURPOSELY turning DRM in in their settings, then being coy about it to avoid revealing the truth. Also funny if you mention the DRM, they never turn it off.
