Photo of the day !!

front-door.jpg

That should be a clothes and fabric shop. The two words on the left - says "Ba" Country. From a modern day perspective, that could indicate Brazil.

From a historical point of view circa 700 BCE, "Ba" Country lies in present day SiChuan Province, China.

I think the drum shaped stone on the extreme left was to facilitate the rider dismounting from horses.

I understand that the two stone carvings flanking the door/gateway reflects the social status of the family.

Munich has become the city of my life. Even before graduation I decied to move here when I visited this beautiful city for the first time. That was my best decision. Here I met the partner of my heart, found the friends who are precious and the companies which enabled my professional career. And my little aprtment over the roofs of Munich with great views. Munich has always been generous to me and has made me incredibly happy and full of gratitude.

That's why I will post some specialties regarding Munich. There are so many, let's start with some of my favourite Jugendstil houses. They are just overwhelming. Hope Nexo will see them personally very soon. Enjoy!

another photography Q Nex,please

do you have to/need to adjust a/the possible magnification feature on your camera,if it has such
to get those finer details of the structures
if so,geuss that would act in lieu of a telephoto lens huh

thanks
There's an option to "zoom in" but it doesn't improve the image resolution which is unfortunate.

Originally built as "Warenhaus Tietz" (1907-1909), this department store is now called "Galeria Kaufhof" (mentioned it in my previous post):
