I was just watching this on CNN and the reporter was in Bonn. I hope you're far from this disaster.
Thankfully, the area I live in isn't affected by flooding at all. Not everyone is so lucky.

Two pics I took yesterday.

Rochester, Kent, 16th July 2021.

Pics of two of the oldest buildings in this country. And they literally stand right opposite each other.
First one, Rochester Cathedral (construction started circa 1083).
Second one Rochester Castle (construction started circa 1087).
And, though I didn't take a pic, in-between the two happens to be what is widely thought to be the oldest pub in England. Which is where I spent the evening. 900+ years after all this "technology-free" building work....

So, yeah, pic 1 = early evening, sober M2V.
Pic 2 = after closing time, fairly drunk M2V!
