Everyone on this thread is showing their age. 'Cept me, obvs, as I was just a child in the 80s.

Well if one considers a teenager still a child, so was I for most of the decade. But I rather have grown up then instead of being part of a generation remembered for fanny packs, Boy Bands and The Macarena...ugh .

When jeans took off and there were stores galore for denim besides just the big chains and The Gap. There were The Copper Rivet and The County Seat at my local mall plus others. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a pic of The Copper Rivet.
