Richard Madden (Robb Stark in GOT)

It's just a matter of time before some things start to leak. There's a story on DL about him doing blowjobs in the bathrooms of clubs, and this:

Could be a lie? of course, but I think he did some naughty things in the past and the gay circle of Glasgow knows about it. (this story is from the past and not in the date we see there, Richard was quarantined with Froy in May)
Richard appears everywhere to be a genuinely sweet and humble guy. He’s decent even when fans are rushing him constantly, I don’t buy that story from random Twitter guy. He’s been pretty consistent over the years.

I know! But he was cleary trying to take the guy home with him, maybe he was drunk after a party, there's no need to believe he's a bad person for that.

I've seen the behind the scenes but never the actual CK advert. Anyone got links?

The actual ad/commercial hasn't come out yet. It's speculated it was meant to release alongside The Eternals to give the movie/Richard/CK a marketing boost but with COVID delaying the movie it seems the ad campaign has followed suit.

Hollywood still seems to work a certain way. If you’re looking to be an A-list leading man then you don’t attach yourself to “gay”. Period. Unless you’re in a legit long-term homo relationship and are very much on the homo end of the romantic, sexual, affection, emotional investment, commitment spectrum then you shouldn’t be a dude who’s unabashedly into your sex. Those still seem to be the “rules”. There remains substantial DL culture in the industry. There’s still substantial hetero pressures. There’s a lot of internalized phobias, gay insecurities and mental health struggles. And there’s a lot of industry guys who are into “straight” or closeted dudes. So, you don’t really feel any pressure to be “out”, outside of a few randoms on social media. That’s why I don’t get why any closeted “queer” would want to work in Hollywood. But I guess if you want the stardom that bad...

Hollywood is shit and full of hypocrites. What you just wrote leaves you heartbroken, but it is the truth, the sad truth! We have to swallow "perfect couples" like Armie Hammer and his ex-wife, looking like the happiest couple in the world on the red carpet. Fake couples, staged pictures, PR arragements. And then, behing the shodows, backstage, at the after party, like a dirty secret a boyfriend is waiting for the man he loves who just received a Golden Globe, alone, without the possibility of sharing it or celebrating with a kiss. Everything is bullshit in Hollywood.

Sooo... why hasn't he come out yet? He doesn't have much of a career after GoT and his family seems to know already so what's the hold up? It can only benefit his career at this point

JoJo Siwa came out last weekend via Instagram. Shortly, after her announcement, her house was ransacked by SWAT police. Someone had rung up 911 with false accusations to prank her after she came out. Matthew Camp had his house burnt down, with him and his housemate inside, in what the police are calling a hate crime arson. It doesn't matter if his family are fine, even if his work circle are fine, it ain't safe to come out in this world.

I don’t like to make assumptions about anyone. Fluidity is legit. Sexuality is a ton of different things (the different types and rates of attractions, arousal, desire, enjoyment, passion, who you like pleasing, what you will and won’t indulge). Love is complicated. And the gender, romantic, sexual, affection, emotion, commitment spectrum is varied. I also don’t think anyone has to “come out”, and that it’s ultimately not our business. However, when grown ass, 30+ year old dudes actively try to present a “straight” while living in glass closets, it does come off awkward and insecure. And Hollywood is indeed very much still founded in hypocrisy, phoniness and image branding.

Of course sexuality is fluid and we shouldn't assume anything... but in Hollywood is different, in hollywood an actor who did a gay sex scene will do his best to clarify that he is not gay. Whereas it is not the same for gay actors doing straight sex scenes, because most of them are in the closet (Of course we have exceptions like Andrew Scott, Brandon Flynn or Matt Bomer), but they don't clarify in each interview that they are gay) . It's the hypocrisy that bothers me about straight actors is how they fiercely defend their heterosexuality, they don't want to leave room for any confusion, they don't even want the audience to think they're a bit bi curious. Calm down dude, no one is accusing you of a crime. But at the same time I understand how things work in hollywood.

A lot of that stuff has less to do with the industry and more to do with stuff like general male homophobia, male insecurities, toxic masculinity, gay insecurities, gay panic, hetero privilege, masculine pressures, hetero superiority. Those are wide-ranging issues, not just industry issues. But it’s apparent the industry is still f-ed up in many ways.

What does "t*p" mean, or refer to...?

I've enjoyed watching him on Sirens. His character was such a needy power bottom with bdsm tendencies. Not to mention, him fetishisizing black men. The episode in which he had hots for his highschool bully because he was his bully was my favourite.

Here is a nice and accurate fic about Madden's character from Sirens/Ashley Greenwick:
