you hear the same in england about Richy, i have met him years ago in Brighton. he was flirty yes but i dont really care if he wants to come out or not.It's just a matter of time before some things start to leak. There's a story on DL about him doing blowjobs in the bathrooms of clubs, and this:

Could be a lie? of course, but I think he did some naughty things in the past and the gay circle of Glasgow knows about it. (this story is from the past and not in the date we see there, Richard was quarantined with Froy in May)
fact is, the minute u come out in Hollywood, your career takes a huge hit. i wouldnt come out as bi either just cause ppl expect me to. its my life. who i kiss or fuck is, in the end of the day, my business xD.
but yes, the whispers in some circles do say hes a top, not well endowed tho. but hes nice, that matters more in my books
There’s been rumors about Richard with guys for years. He has likely had at least a couple of same-sex relationships, including his most recent relationships. Also, what does being “straight” or “flexible” have to do with bottoming or topping?
“Queers” really need to get over the obsession with who’s “straight” or “gay” or “bi”. And they need to stop validating or looking to invalidate “straight” guys or using “straight” identities for fantasy. At this point, it’s just corny and degrading.
Sexuality is a bunch of different stuff (degrees and types of attraction, arousal desire, enjoyment, passion, fetish, who you like pleasing, what you are and aren’t willing to indulge). Some people experience different degrees of fluidity. Others don’t. The gender, sexual, affection, emotional investment, relationship contentment spectrum is varied. While psychology, sociology, religion, ego, family, money, opportunity, resentments- these things will always affect what people do and how they present themselves. Everyone has their own thing going on and their own journey and motivations. All we can do is attempt to understand each other and try to make sure everyone can be themselves.
I know that this doesn’t fit a lot of people’s identity politics or fit a lot of people’s fantasies. But please stop with the constant “straight” guy stuff, identity politicking and fetishizing people’s identities, lives, struggles.

I understand your point, but by now he is already in a glass closet. There are already several stories of guys with him in gay clubs, and he has had two relationships. His relationship with Brandon was quite public because Brandon was out and loud, now with Froy they are more private because Froy is also in the closet. He can do whatever he wants with his life, the problem is in the media and the press who is trying to out him all the time.
The media, at least mainstream media, have mostly left Richard alone. It’s no longer cool for the media to out people. There’s been a few “suggestive” articles. But they’ve mostly left him alone. Most of the folks who know care to know or pay a lot of attention to celeb gossip. It is funny how whenever a dude and a chick are seen together, mainstream media have no problem constantly “speculating”. But when it comes to same-sex stuff, particularly with dudes, they are very careful with how they approach it.
There’s been a lot of public figures who spent years living in glass closets. It’s not anything new. It’s unfortunate that it’s still that way in 2021. But ultimately, Richard doesn’t owe anyone anything. And the “coming out” process can be exhausting. Some want you to adhere to an identity. Some will think because you’re “out” you have to tell everyone all your business. You have to deal with an onslaught of attention you may not want to deal with or may not feel worth it (especially if you don’t know that you want to be with a dude longterm and aren’t interested in a hetero commitment). And yes, if you are a male actor who’s looking to be a leading man and who depends on his looks and sex appeal then being homosexual/“gay”/unabashedly indulging legit same-sex relationships/being overall homo-leaning when it comes to the romantic, sexual, affection, emotional investment, commitment spectrum- it does have consequences. I do hope if he continues to have relationships with dudes for years to come he doesn’t try to conceal it. It’d be very unfortunate to still be here a decade from now.

Well I think Richard and Andrew Scott are proof of how stupid Hollywood is to believe that a bi / gay man cannot be a leading man and film sex scenes with women, after all, straight actors always get praises for their gay scenes.. You can add more names to the list, and I'm sure the list would get longer if we added those actors who are in the closet. Stupid Hollywood.

I've seen people elsewhere say that he's back in London just starting to film that Russo Brothers show he'd signed on for right before the pandemic. Priyanka Chopra's been tweeting about being out there preparing to shoot it, so it makes sense if he's out there too. I think I saw that it was supposed to be filmed last summer but she had to finish doing the 4th Matrix film and he was filming reshoots for Eternals.
Someone on Reddit(? I think) pointed out how when he moved to Los Angeles to be with Brandon, the tabloids tried to sell it as him trying to book projects in Hollywood, but all he's gotten roles in since moving there were three projects that all ended up filming in England (Eternals, that WW1 movie, and this show).

Citadel in London was a last minute change, they were going to shoot the series in L.A at first. Richard had great opportunities when he moved to L.A. and was able to be close to Brandon. After the breakup, he rented Emilia's house where he would live in quarantine with Froy. But I guess it's normal for actors to move around all the time.
