I‘m probably going to regret asking to see this, but do you have the clip of Danny making these statements?
Put in context as Danny was appearing on well known tv programme, that as we know those main stream television channels do not favour porn modes especially gay porn models appearing in their shows.
Danny was doing what lot of these lads do which is say either, he was desperate for money or he hated working for Sean Cody blah blah blah, just to start his non porn career.
It happens all the time with these guys/lads to be fair so........

Thanks for the link, but I don’t see anything controversial about what he said. The vast majority of former adult porn performers ( gay, str8, male & female) aren’t exactly loud and proud about their porn pasts. In fact, I’m sure many of them wish they’d never made the choice to do porn. Danny [a str8 guy] saying he “hated it” or seriously regrets it shouldn’t be a shocker to anyone.

Almost every G4P star regrets their time in the industry to some varying degree. It’s part of the trade atp. Thinking you can participate in and clearly enjoy gay sex on camera and continue to live a completely heteronormative life with zero pushback from an incredibly homophobic general public is kind of insane when you think about it.
I absolutely agree with this 100% and I would add that there has to be want and desire to get into and work within gay porn industry and be adore and revered and wanked over by millions of gay men. And dealing with the consequences of this decision is a big problem for the models!
It's a big problem because some of these "fans" become overly attached, obsessed, borderline stalkers who reach out to family/friends of these guys or to the guys directly being absolute weirods, years after they have long retired... because these "fans" refuse to let these people move on
