Reason why im speaking on this is unfortunately ive seen more than enough gay men moving like him in the world. It HAS to be addressed. Look at the guys who andrew gilliam got caught with. The guy was a prostitute that was also working as a nurse,plastering all sorts of porn and sex about himself. How many professionals within the gay space literally putting their sex lives out there alongside their professional lives?
The "Senate Top" account on Twitter is pretty hilarious. I shouldn't be laughing, probably, as there's a lot of suffering at the heart of this. I wouldn't want to incur the karma of doing that account with the guy's actual old Twitter handle that he deleted.

You’re misunderstanding or misinterpreting what I’m saying. You are talking it as I’m complaining about Conservatives, and I’m , and I’m not generalizing about them. I was responding to a comment where someone specifically mentioned how Conservatives are using this man’s actions as “outrage bait,” and how he’s “reinforcing negative stereotypes” about gays.
First, let me try and clarify something. If anyone (Conservative or otherwise), takes the actions of an individual and tries to put that on a whole community, that person making that judgment on a community is the person with the problem. The person who did the act is only responsible for their own actions. That’s really weird 1950s thinking and has no place in the 21st Century.
Second, the commenter mentioned Conservatives who are using this as outrage bait. That’s specific.
Maybe he thought he was going to get a porn movie deal... or something.. like I just don't understand what was going on for real!

He's just young and stupidly naive, I think. I don't think there's anything more to it than that. Like a lot of people, he lived his life online; got positive reinforcement for his sexcapades; and was overly trusting of other people in his online groups, thinking this latest risk-taking sex location would impress his small group and the clip would go no further. That's my take on it. I don't think there's anything going on that's deeper than that.

Also i did not realise at the beginning that he actually posted the video him self as i thought the other person he was with doing it related the footage.
Makes sense now that he did the clip for a small group but someone in there broke the trust and released it.
Here's the thing if you go ahead and film stuff like this and especially in a work environment then there's always the high chance something will leak or get released down the track....

Dude, I'm not undermining the seriousness of what he did. You're reading into what I wrote. I'm not excusing his behavior in the least. I actually like and agree with most of what you've written about the negative effects caused by the expectation that constant and risky sex is integral to being gay. (Though this is hardly a new phenomenon.)
All I'm saying is that the motivation for what he did is not very deep. It was my reaction to those trying to ascribe deeper motives to his actions. That's all.
