He never had a panic attack watching love Simon. That's just another lie spread in the gay community. He quite literally said he almost auditioned for the main role... It's tiring to paint Shawn as this homophobic guy when he does the opposite. Only thing he asked repeatedly is for people to stop labeling as something he doesn't identify as... and that was years ago.
