Quick update: I felt motivated after reading through your responses. I ripped the band aid off and came out to my parents, via text.

Response:

• You know that doesn't change anything
• Just wish you were more comfortable to tell us sooner
• Why would you be afraid to admit it to yourself?
• We feel special that you came out to us first
• You are our son no matter what

All in all, I asked in my first post for validation. I think validation was delivered. Thanks everyone.

I will say this you don't need to come out if you accept yourself what you do in the bedroom is your business.
