Swim trunks… With or without underwear?

Might be a dumb question but I’m genuinely curious… do y’all wear underwear underneath your swim trunks? (And share your pics?).

My answer: I don’t wear underwear underneath but I’m getting a bit subconscious in my choice as I’m getting older... And for me, it doesn’t matter if they have a liner or not, to me, swim trunks just feel more comfortable when I’m free-ballin. Uncut and a grower here (5 when semi / around 7.5 when hard) so nothing fancy to show off by not wearing underwear with my trunks when I’m by the pool.

I wear board shorts that have no liner. I have tried to wear some briefs under at various times but just couldn’t make it work. Now I just go free under & feels the best.

Never worn underwear under the swim trunks and they have usually been shorter like trunks should be I hate those long ones and I've always had the looks from people and in younger years going on dates to the Hot Pools was always fun!

I never wear underwear under a swim suit. Why wear a fabric that isn’t designed to be worn wet underneath? I never understood this practice!

Under board shorts I'll wear a swim jock otherwise when I get out of the water and it suctions straight to my package, EVERYTHING is on display. If I forget my swim jock, then I'll put my thumb in the waistband as I get out to let air in so it doesn't suction to my package.

If they have a liner, then no. If not, yes; to avoid chafing. Speedos or trunks made of that material are actually a lot easier. Europe and most of the rest of the world has the right idea.

All my trunks and running shorts have a mesh liner which stops things from hanging out the bottom of the shorts but does nothing to hide the shape or volume of the contents. At one time I was really consious of how much it bulges but don't really care now, and sometimes it leads to interesting conversations and situations.
Underwear- no thanks, I'd rather go skinny and if it's a public pool then generally they won't let you do either.

I already replied, but I do want to add an important comment. When I am shopping for swimwear I look with my hands and not my eyes on purpose. My bud asked me what I was doing and I said if it is going to be against my dick and balls it better feel awesome before I will consider it. I am firm in this. I also like OLD SKOOL Birdwells. They are the kind of fabric men should wear for swimming.

That´s a great point @lumberjockn I also do that. Always buy my swimwear in person and touch the fabric too. Have to be pleasant to my dick and balls as I wear no underwear to swimwear.

I especially do that when buying bath towels. Nothing worse than a scratchy bath towel.

I accidentally left one of my towels on the bench in the gym. When I came back, it was gone. I guess someone else appreciated how soft it was too.
