The holidays suck when there is hostility between the wife and my family.
Because there is so much tension, I will be with my side of the family and she will be with her family. Alcohol is my only friend during the holidays. I actually just opened up a bottle of cabernet sauvignon. My ass is about to get fancy drunk.
I hope that's a bottle of Spicy Australian, Mr. *grins*

I get to spend today with my sister doing last minute food shopping (and drinking when we get home, no doubt), and tomorrow dad is coming over for which I am both grateful and dreading due to me recently sharing some physics podcast with him that I thought he'd love which he flipped out on me for sharing. I mean, he literally went ballistic on me over email 2 weeks ago. Avoided him since, he's been over once but I went out. Yay xmas
