Tom holland

Ryan Reynolds knows what he's good at though and if it ain't broke etc. He's making good money and he's actually getting some good films out. I've enjoyed a few of his Netflix outings.
yeah...ok, but my whole point is Tom is trying to do some critically acclaimed work not just big studio movies

emphasis on trying, because he's not really been getting acclaimed by any critics. ryan reynolds on the other hand makes a lot of big studio projects that people have genuinely really liked

I'm talking about critically acclaimed movies, Ryan Reynolds has none. That's why I'm using him as an example. If you look at his page on Metacritic since 2011, he has been in over 25 movies and if you don't count Deadpool, he's only had 3 movies that have a score above 60 in Metacritic. Most of his movies are in the 50s and 40s, and he has 8 movies below 40.

Ryan is hot, rich and funny but it's not like he is a critical darling or someone who's going to be taught in acting schools

You mean by film snobs who demand we watch some French arthouse noir and if we don't enjoy it we're clearly braindead?

I never listen to critics because like all things, it's subjective. I especially don't listen to Metacritic or Rotten Tomatoes. Not every film needs to be Citizen Kane etc. We can just enjoy stuff.

There are a lot of popular/commercial films that have very high scores on Metacritic but I guess everyone has different tastes and that's okay.... everyone should watch the kind of films they enjoy

Haven't seen any review mention any nudity so far. Apple also very rarely does nudity so just keep your hopes down
The one (butt shot) apple series that if I remember correctly watched is with Taron, but I haven't really watched a lot of apple series to judge its rarity lol.

Apple does occasionally have nudity. Ted Lasso had some. Shrinking had Jason Segel's ass. Obviously Taron Egerton.
I think the show with Jason Momoa had some female nudity.

true. appletv shows aren't super popular because no one seems to have it, so you rarely see people talking/posting about the shows on there. you might see the horny stuff, like taron half naked and covered in milk, which looked like cum, but that's about it. no one really posts about the actual shows.
it's probably gonna be the hardcore tom fans watching it to see if there's any good/hot scenes to gif. but even those are probably more likely to pirate it

Ted Lasso gets a lot of chatter, but it's about the only one. With only the oddest exception, a TV series has to be either on Netflix, HBO on Sunday nights, or a Disney+ series with the words "Star Wars" or Marvel in it to get much attention.

I was thinking, in an alternate universe where Tom auditioned for Spider-Man but didn't get the part for whatever reason, since Marvel often likes to bring back actors who had a good audition for another role, I think they would've cast him as Wiccan.

Then we'd have Tom playing gay and bottoming for Hulkling, instead of that poor kid they ended up casting.

Tom Holland as Wiccan? Nah. He’s hot but being a twink aside he doesn’t fit the role.

No. Wiccan's thing is that he's gay. And people would throw a fit if an actor who's not openly gay/bi played him. They're already throwing a fit that he might be getting played by joe, when they want a jewish actor to play him
