Underwear in other states?

First off this thread us for men who live in the US.

Do men wear certain types of underwear in specific states?

For example I live in California and all the guys I know wear boxers and boxer briefs.

Is different in other states in the USA?

I would love to hear you guys. Pics and stories are all welcome.

haha yeah--I guesswe were supposed to be talking about typical examples. I couldn't give that anyway--guys wear all sorts of stuff--found that out at the gym and my work locker room

Briefs and boxer briefs, with fewer boxers in northern VA.

Just about the same as above but I am 45 minutes away from VA but in Maryland… seems to be half briefs and boxerbriefs from 20’s and up with it almost being strange to see a boxers waistband!

NJ - boxer briefs or regular briefs - even "tighty whities".
Hardly ever see traditional boxer shorts anymore.

Seems to be All boxer briefs in IL that's what I wear out n about at home mostly in boxers unless doing something physical then its briefs and bikinis!

Several of us are reporting that boxer shorts seem to have gone away.
I actually read an article some years ago, it was a marketing report in a professional journal for clothing, and the article reported back then that sales of boxer shorts had gone down and the sales of briefs had been rising. Boxer briefs had remained steady. And that certainly is what I am seeing in northern NJ.

There's nothing wrong with boxer shorts and I still wear them if I am just hanging around the house. But the trend of clothing getting "skinnier" certainly has hurt sales of boxer shorts. Interestingly, Joe Boxer now sells briefs.

But for the young and lanky guys, they wear snug fitting pants for which boxer shorts just don't work.
