So have they essentially wiped a certain amount of their content to a certain date, to then be able to re-release it under a remaster? Seems a litttle silly to not allow paying members full admission to the full catalog or have it available

There’s still an abundance of content available, but I agree it sucks that the older stuff is more rare now. If you sign up at the right time they give you coupon codes to download several digital dvds, but even some of the oldest content isn’t available in that format.

Oh totally, and I know I’d enjoy the content they have, but I’m also of an age where their ‘peak’ for me pre-dates the timeline of content they currently have.

I’ve never known any porn site that I’ve joined remove their older content to such an extreme value. Kinda defeats the point of signing up a little.

That is both likely and true. However, in the 21st century I don't know how valid that sort of tactic is. A simple VPN solves the problems created by such restrictions.

In the 21st century such things are cheap (there are free ones) and easy to come by (heck, many AVS software packages bundle a VPN these days). Yes, you have to know that you need one, and etc, etc, but the work around to region IP blocking is ridiculously simple these days. I have friends who live in the state of Texas, which recently enacted a bunch of state laws that are designed at prohibiting the distribution of adult content over the interwebs within the state. Many adult web sites responded by just rejected traffic that could be geolocated to within the bounds of that state.

Except everyone one forgot that just because someone is in Texas, they don't have to have an IP address that is. If you try and touch certain adult websites without a VPN, you get nothing, but with a VPN, essentially nothing changed...

Just read this and that and used to the case but now it less restrictive in lot of these countries where these models are recruited from.

I read ages ago that Kris Evans was outed in his community in small town in Hungary for appearing on Bel Ami , which kind of is not a surprise really despite the blocking of the website in his region.
