What's for dinner?

Pizza here too and it was divine i must say!
I made a huge batch of soup today, but wanted pizza for dinner. I had pizza made with whole wheat dough with fresh onion and fresh jalapeno. I couldn't even detect any heat from the jalapeno, but the pizza was good nevertheless.

I'm watching the superbowl. NY is winning.

Chicken Adobo with rice

Creamed parsnips with ginger

Aparagus with vanilla cream sauce

Apple and pecan crisp

FYI, I had dinner at my mom's. The chicken adobo recipe she got from the Filipino purser on my father's ship back in the 60s. It's wonderful!

I had roast beef, roast potatoes, home made yorkshire puddings (not those yucky frozen ones), stuffing, peas, carrots, brocolli and gravey. No room for dessert!

LOL, New York/NJ style of course.

But it wasn't that good. My favorite Pizza place closed and I tired a new place. I'll have to keep looking.
Mem: I used to live in NJ. If you ever happen to be in Hammonton, (Southern) NJ, look for Bruni's Pizza. It's right on the main drag (I think it's rt. 206). There is a story behind it that goes back to the late '50s. The people that brought this taste to Atlantic County were from Italy. It is hands down the best pizza that I've ever had. When I go back to Atlantic City to visit family, Bruni's is a must.

White King Salmon baked in Alsace Riesling.

Salad: Watercress, Tuscan olive oil, peppercorn, lime juice, hand-harvested "fleur de sel".

Spaghetti with sweet sausage, onions, herbs, (ran out of garlic grrrr), and some fresh grated reggiano.

Desert, as usual, is two sticks of Men's Pocky.
