What's for dinner?

Gods...that's a lot of food!!
Are you feeding a crowd?

It is all in a small, coated cardboard container...a one person serving..
When you list the ingredients, it seems like a lot!

In addition to eating a salad at each meal, I'm about half way through my aforementioned Thai leftovers...

Still plan to grill on Monday, though...

Last night I went down to visit some friends. Took over some bbq'd chicken leg quarters from the night before that had been marinated in a red wine vinaigrette before cooking. Took all the meat off the bones, chopped it up into little pieces, and then my friend made quesadillas with the chicken. They were pretty fabulous. She got them super crispy, and they were filled with melty cheese and chicken goodness.

Barbecuing for guests tonight: fall off the bone ribs, home grown steak, baked potatoes, grilled peppers and for dessert - homemade vanilla ice cream & berries.

Damn, I'm a good cook!

Can I come over for dinner..? That sounds awesome and I have no idea what I'm having for dinner tonight.

We are almost having the same dinner except we are having grilled corn. I made the ice cream last night!

Cheeseburgers, sweet potato fries, jello salad w. fruit, and green salad. Dessert options are pound cake drizzled with chocolate and sliced fruit or Nutella bread pudding. Om nom nom

Damn! You missed it! I have some leftovers, though - wanna come over for a midnight snack & a chat? It'd be fun!

Hey, me too! I love my ice cream maker - I keep the bowl in the freezer all the time, just in case I'm in the mood,

Yes, earl - I keep people in my basement. I feed them sake and massage them to keep the meat well marbled.

Actually, the beef is local. Practically knew the cow's first name!

*And my home's not creepy. It's light, fun and welcoming. You'd be welcome here, and feel right at home (just don't go in the basement...)

I'd be delighted to come to your home Femme! I'd be looking forward to some booze and the rump, flank and tenderloin massage. You can start calling me Mabel.

Ohhh damn. I just lol'd(pardon the acronym) literally. this thread is hilarious.

I had sloppy joes made with locally raised/butchered moo moo. Green beans. Fresh strawberries with cream. Peanut butter milkshake.

Tomorrow? Baby back ribs. They're thawing now and I'll put the dry rub on them tonight when they're thawed, so they can spend all night and most of tomorrow getting delicious.
