What's for dinner?

Pilaf is a side. Not to be picky, but if I'm traveling that far, I'd like a main and some dessert, too please. Perhaps a wine? I'm an excellent guest, btw. I'll even help clean up.

Tonight, I'm dining on poached salmon, brown rice and roasted peppers. Guess, I'll have to wait for my pilaf.

I had cheese fondue and salad for dinner and then chocolate fondue for dessert. I'm stuffed. :biggrin1:

If this thread keeps coming up I'll answer. Pretty much a 1/2 dark side of a garlic lemon pepper soaked chicken. Grilled off and bbq'd to finish. And a huge spinach salad. Avacado lime chili dressing.

Raided my fave Thai takeout place...should have enough leftovers now to last until grill time on Memorial Day:

Garlic Pepper Beef
Garlic Pepper Chicken
Beef Pad See Ew
Summer Rolls
Crab Rangoon
Brown Rice

I got the Pad See Ew w/o noodles...which when I called, the lady on the phone wouldn't do. I went in and talked to the owner -- he had them do it. Phone lady was pissed and looked like she wanted to cut a bitch...well...me :-D

Gods...that's a lot of food!!
Are you feeding a crowd?

Homemade kung pao chicken and veggie fried rice. The entire house smells like a Chinese restaurant.

The chicken was really good. The rice could have been better I think next time I'll use regular rice and not the instant crap.

:( Instant rice? Bad, dude, bad! I <3 my rice steamer so much

Even without a rice steamer, 2:1 ratio. Bring two cups of water to a boil, add one cup rice, reduce heat to low, cover, cook for twenty minutes, let sit for five and it's good to go. Substitute chicken stock for water for more substantial rice.
