In the 70s, Shep Messing, pro soccer player and Olympian (later, a longtime ESPN broadcaster) posed nude for Bob Guccione's women's magazine, Viva. He said he did it to give soccer more exposure, but I'm pretty sure he wanted folks to know he had a big dick, too.

In 2007, he was photographed by Mario Testino for the first male frontal nude in Vogue Germany (yes, pics attached, boys!).

In 2009 after a car accident and a serious spine injury he became paraplegic.

After he recovered, he became a renowned paralympic athlete, four-time world champion in paracanoe.
