How do we define women being harassed? Do we bring it on ourselves or are we unwilling looking for some secret attention that we don't get at home

Um, I don't think either of those situations define harassment. They might be lame excuses that one might use to justify harassing a woman, but that's not harassment.

Maybe rephrase the question.

I get a lot of attention at home. Strangely, all the love from the home base still hasn't made me ok with harassment.

I had a customer at work stare at my boobs and when I went to pull my shirt a bit to cover the cleavage he said "Your boobs look really good in that shirt" I uncomfortably tried to distract myself and get back on the floor when he followed me around and was sure to mention "No seriously though, your tits look fanastic." Before leaving.

My husband could have said that and I'd melt in his arms. A stranger saying it not just once but twice is harassment.

Even if I had no self esteem I'd still be bothered by a creep harassing me.
