I also attended a conference during which I shared a room with a work associate. Why? I didn't ask. I just did what I was told. I took advantage of the extra face time with a more experienced salesperson. I asked loafs of questions, both personal (to find out what drove her success) and professional (for the same reason). She was as gracious as she was wise.
Why would there be nudity? We were not friends. We both wore wore nightgowns and bathrobes. We both wore slippers in the room, and flip flops in the shower. She saw where I left mine drying, and put hers next to them, which is the only reason I know. We were both taught by our parents not to let public surfaces touch our skin. We both brought our own pillows and pillow cases. I thought it interesting we were so much alike. She let me try her hair oil. I let her try my moisturizer. We were courteous about noise, light, and use of the bathroom. We waited for each other each morning, and went together to all the same talks and demonstrations. We had our meals together, and with other members of our team. I was very attracted to her, but I would never have wanted her to know. We were colleagues, not friends.
