Some tips from a deepthroater who is a physician at the same time. I often joke deepthroating is my second specialty

Assess the curve:
Majority of cocks have that upward curve. When fully hard they will bruise your soft palate if you try to service them from your knees. These cocks are easiest to service when they are laying down and you come from upside down (similar to 69 but your body is next to your feeder - I call it 68). Or if you want to be facefucked - head hanging off the edge of the bed will allow for the best angle for him to go balls deep.
Cocks that have the downward curve are serviced the best from your knees.
Straight cocks - you can go from virtually any position.

Position your head:
Tilting your head back (extending the neck) will straight line your mouth and throat and make it easier to take it while.

Lubrication:
Saliva only is never enough. Mucus that throat starts producing is superb lubricant. Our throats produce this mucous whenever we eat so the food bolus can be smooth and can travel through esophagus without damaging the esophageal lining. Production of this mucus gets triggered by stimulating throat with swallowing cock. Our brains perceive this stimulus as food and reflexively sends the feedback that stimulate epithelial cells of the pharynx and esophagus to produce this lubricating substance. The more your throat is stimulated - the more mucus (and subsequently more lube).

Gag reflex:
Gag reflex is normal body response to protect our airways against aspirating food and fluids we take. Up to 30% of humans don’t even have it (lucky ones when it comes to deepthroating). For us who have it, there are couple of tricks how to successfully control it. When you deepthroat (as one of the pervious posters explained - deepthroat is when cocksucker paces the cock service) you can simply start making swallowing motions. That has double positive effect: 1. It makes the service more pleasurable for the feeder since throat muscles massage the shaft and the head of the penis (many hung guys LOVE that feeling - I actually had a regular feeder who was enjoying this the most and would simply text: “I need my massage” when in need). 2. Swallowing motions offset gag reflex. Performing those swallowing motions you send an impulse to your brain that the “food” (cock in this situation) is in the right pipe and the gag reflex is offset.
Things get much trickier when you are facefucked. In that situation you would need to make those swallowing motions much quicker (which takes a lot of practice and training), especially if it’s an intense session. In those instances you will be gagging and retching.
Avoid food for 6-8 hours prior to deepthroat session if possible. Empty stomach will cut back on your gag reflex tremendously.
5.
Hydration:
It is of utmost importance to maintain hydration prior and after your deepthroat session. Good hydration state will enable your cells to produce copious amounts of throat mucus and hence great lubrication through the session. It will also make the lining of your pharynx and esophagus more elastic and pliable that prevents injuries.
6.
Poppers:
Poppers is basically one of the nitrates (like nitroglycerin). It relaxes our smooth muscles and makes deepthroating much easier and more pleasurable. The issue with poppers could be some other chemicals they put in those solutions available on market and some studies have shown that those “adjuvants” could cause dementia. Unfortunately pharmacies nowadays rarely dispense pure amyl-nitrate so getting products from Europe is maybe a better option.
7.
Breathing:
Take breaths whenever possible. Your body needs oxygen. When deepthroating I prefer to go all the way up and down and take a quick breath with every stroke. And then every 30 sec I take a deep dive in and hold it for 15-30 seconds and purely massage the head and shaft with my throat muscles. It heavily depends on feeders preferences what he wants more so make sure you address his needs by simply asking beforehand what are his expectations.
8.
Practice makes it perfect:
For beginners - practice as often as you can. Preferably 3-5 times a week if possible. The best specimens for early training phases are cocks around 7.5-8 inches with average girths. Those are the easiest to conquest the basics of deepthroat technique. Know your limits:
Cock Length should never be an issue! With optimal girth, if you can swallow 7.5 - you can swallow 12 as well (the descent and ascent will be prolonged though). Girth is the worst enemy of deepthroaters with full dentition. Those thick ones can often hit the molars in the back and teething is something you do not want to occur. In my personal opinion, it is a failure (of me as deepthroat cocksucker) and can harm the feeder plus exposing you to possible blood-born pathogens. Test yourself and know your girth limit. If for whatever reason you lost all of your teeth and have full dentures - sky is the limit when it comes to deepthroating massive cocks.
10. Miscellaneous tips:
Flush your throat by drinking at least 6-8 oz of water after you make your feeder unload down your throat (skip this if you expect another round of feeding). This way you are decreasing chances of contracting chlamydia and gonorrhea infection by having them exposed to stomach acid. Take Doxycycline 200 mg within 24 hours of the session (never on empty stomach - Doxy can make you nauseous plus avoid dairy products 3 hours before and after taking doxycycline since calcium binds this antibiotic). Use Listerine mouthwash after the session for deep gurgling for at least 15-20 sec - it decreases your chances of contracting gonorrhea). Do not brush your teeth at least 3-4 hours before and after oral - you can technically make small wounds on oral mucosa that can make you more prone to blood-born pathogens.
