Dr. Andrew Huberman

It just cracks me up how he has this holier than thou/enlightened , over inflated self importance view of himself, like hes above everyday stimulations/desires, yet hes very much like any ordinary every day man that thinks with his dick. The same way i believe hes hooked up with guys i believe hes hooked up w all these women, dont think he hooks up for the sexual aspect or cuz he finds someone hot but just to stroke his ego with all these stranger approvals/desire for him.

It seems like he is a well-to-do psychopath.

Yeah, it’s disenchanting.
I still stand by saying I’m disappointed he sleeps with women (disgusting…:joy:). Jokes aside, reading this altered my perception of him.

He’s a stud, successful, and intelligent, so he could have easily slept around NSA. It seems like he gets off by the power he feels having women be the only ones that are exclusive in a “monogamous” relationship.

To anyone who hasn’t read it, here are the main takeaways:
- He convinced the six women he was dating that he was exclusively dating them, which made them drop their guard and have unprotected sex.
- He gave HPV to these women. HPV is hard to pinpoint, but the woman in the story said she regularly gets tested, and because they were exclusive, she figured he gave it to her (which is possible since obviously he wasn’t being monogamous).
- He shamed one woman for previously having children with another man whom she had been with in the past.
- He helped one woman with her fertility treatment, all the while sleeping with all these other women. (This one bothers me the most)

The scandal makes him look totally different after listening to the women and his friends talk about him. His soft dom daddy energy and his trademark stare looks more like closet psychopath energy now.

I'm not basing my professional opinion of a man on some ex-girlfriends who are only identified by pseudonyms. I'd like to hear what "Sarah"s ex-boyfriends have to say about her behavior.
In the article linked I only saw that "Sarah" had HPV and Huberman can't be proven to have it. There was no mention of the other women getting HPV. Unless all of them have it, it is unlikely Sarah got it from Huberman. If Huberman had it, likely all the women would have gotten it. But of course, Sarah who tests for herself "regularly" had a positive test result and blames Huberman. If we had Sarah's real name, we might find that she was not as exclusive as she presents herself.
In any event, when you are having unprotected sex, you are rolling the dice. As the article mentions, Huberman cannot tell if he has it so he could not give it knowingly. In California they reduced the penalties for KNOWINGLY giving someone HIV so unknowingly giving someone the less serious HPV would seem to be a non-issue, at least legally.

Well Sarah was his long-time partner who he shared a home with, so I’m not sure why we’re throwing her under fire for thinking he gave her HPV. It wouldn’t be a leap for her to think that since she told the other women, in light of the revelations, that she felt silly for having exclusively slept with him for six years. And let’s keep in mind that she’s not the one who got caught sleeping with 6 different women (and at that rate there’s probably more), so no need to smear her. They had time stamped messages and pictures that Huberman would send them. It’s odd to think that a guy constantly telling us to limit our dopamine hits would end up a sex addict, or in his terms, “a love addict”.

I 100% agree, though. The HPV paragraph isn’t as strong as the other accounts in the article, because it could lay dormant for more than 10 years, but take that section away and the rest is still fucking sleazy and manipulative.

I unfollowed him. Just because I’ve been swooning over him for years and this news is a bit of a disappointment. Plus, I don’t need a podcast to tell me to get sun or inhale/exhale for anxiety lol but I’ll still be tuning in on here on occasion for that wiener drop (just to tame my curiosity :joy:).

Look I didn’t want to believe this either. I love Huberman for the wholesome daddy he is on camera and his helpful videos. But this looks legit.
All exposés whether it’s government related or a celebrity like this, use pseudonyms, they rarely expose the victims they’re writing about. It rides on the journalistic integrity of the writer, who included Huberman’s written responses on a number of the claims. I do think this is an 8,000 word targeted “hit piece”, but it doesn’t mean it’s all fake, and if the worst parts were significantly faked Huberman could sue for defamation and win easily. At the least he could speak up.

It’s not he said vs she said when the women provide phone records, texts, and recorded phone calls to the writer. Not to mention their friends and family members who were included witnesses too. I suspect some things could be biased late in the piece, like his vaguely and one sidedly described “anger” in his arguments, but the key points probably aren’t. He lied and used these women for his gratification while convincing them for years that they were in a monogamous safe relationship with him.

If you read the article, you know his behavior isn’t just an affair, it points to a personality disorder. His podcasts focus on the intersection of science and humanity to help people optimize their lives. He’s covered relationships, sexuality, and morality subjects directly involved with his scandal, and he repeatedly lied about his own life and values in them. Some of the clips are easy to find because they’re a meme now.

This makes him hotter to me lol. Hot daddies who sleep around are a kink for me. I would encourage him to fuck anyone he wants if I was one of his "girls".
When they say the gays got no self respect because y'all let a dick define your brain

One problem is fans (short for "fanatics, btw) tend to find someone who excels in one or two parts of his life and then glorify that person and overlook their flaws or invent other facets of their personalities out of whole cloth. See: Beyonce, Lebron James, Obama, Oprah, Taylor Swift, Ryan Gosling, etc.
I don't deify anyone. I think Joe Rogan is a great podcaster, but he's still human. Despite all the complaints he makes about the far left and communism, he'd vote for Bernie Sanders in a second because Sanders promises free everything at no cost to anyone and Rogan is easily duped (see Sanders, Innocence Project, Neil DeGrass Tyson).
The profession with the most psychopaths is surgery which makes sense if you think about it. Who else could cut people open and treat humans as objects as is required in that profession. From the examples I've met, that extends into their personal life. I will consult with a surgeon about my health conditions but won't take relationship advice from one.
The location with the most sociopaths is Washington DC which also makes sense. All US presidents are narcissists.
My point is that I use these people for their area of expertise but understand that they are just human with good and bad parts. Even if the stories these anonymous sources are telling about Huberman are true it is only from their perspective, and even then, that's still only half the story. I'm sure Huberman has his version and COULD share it but won't because women are professional victims and even if he has the receipts, it will make him look worse to expose Sarah. In addition, I'll bet some exes and perhaps concurrent boyfriends (plural) have things to say about Sarah and what she is like to be around.

It seems they posted him on this "Are We Dating The Same Guy" group a while before the article came out. Someone posted the screenshot on Reddit.
Idk how you found this but I’m so curious to see more. I know his powerful PR company is probably doing damage control wiping these posts from the internet if they can.
